Gut: Check-in, Kommunikation, Lage und Genauigkeit des Onlineauftritts
This was an extended stay so some of our experience may not apply to others. Magnolia North is in a great location. It is a short drive to all the best that Myrtle has to offer. The community is clean, quiet, and welcoming. It’s pet friendly with a lot of green space and a walking path across the street. Thee are multiple pools for all the different buildings. The unit is in a great spot — an end building overlying a tee box. It was nice to watch golfers throughout the day. The unit is accommodating especially nice to have 1 1/2 baths. The king bed and large TVs were nice too. The biggest drawbacks for the rental space where 1) the AC cannot be set below 70 and this is an instruction posted on the AC. The inside temperature was as high as 76 degrees which was quite uncomfortable. We purchased a fan to help this during our stay. It was usually 72-74 daily. 2) each meal we encountered gnats. For whatever reason, any food or beverage attracted gnats so we kept items covered up while swatting in between bites. 3) overall the pics represent the rental but on our arrival we discovered quite a bit of sand that needed swept up and sand in the washing machine. We had to clean out the sand from the washer and then rehash our clothes. Swept up the floors. Overall, it’s a 3 star rating for an extended stay. If we were there for a long weekend, not cooking and mostly out enjoying Myrtle some of these things may not have been a factor.
