Big Dissappointment
Our group of seven with a 90+ elderly had to wait for almost 3 hours to check in due to management miscommunication with the hotel front desk. The front desk told us the condo was not open for us even though everything was already confirmed. They had to contact the owner who also managed the rental, and they came over to sort it out. They ( Salvador and his son) were very apologetic for the error on their part and brought our group 8 quesadillas for the dinner we had missed since it was almost midnight once we checked in. This is the most disastrous check-in process through VRBO ever.
They should have offered to reimburse us for one night.
The condo was not cleaned up to hotel standard and the
two bathrooms had terrible odor with drainage issues. The shower pressure was pathetic with water trickling from the shower heads.
The kitchen utensils were dirty and we had to hand wash everything before using them
We had to ask for toilet paper, paper towels, hand soaps.
The only positive aspects of this condo were the view from the balcony and the sounds of the waves. It is located in a beautiful resort. We would book directly through the hotel if we ever return. The all-inclusive food at the resort was very good and the staff at the resort was superb.
This is as objective as we can review.
