Lovely oceanfront townhouse in Summer Beach Village w/Shared Pool, Central AC

This unit has a fully equipped kitchen with combined living and dining areas, a brand new washer and dryer, and a cable TV. The ocean-view primary bedroom is located upstairs and has a king-size bed, just for lazy morning sunrises from your bed, with a walk-in shower. The upstairs guest bedroom has a twin-over-queen bunk bed with your own private bath that has a tub/shower combo. The third bedroom is located on the main level with the living area and has a queen bed and a shared bath with a tub/shower combo. All mattresses are brand new, so you're sure to get a great night's sleep! This unit is an oceanfront townhouse with an entrance on the second level.

The condo does have about 16 stairs to the front entry and about 18 stairs located inside the unit.

When we arrived late in the evening, we unloaded everything. When going to bed we found bugs in the upstairs beds. The property management teams quickly moved us to another unit which was clean and bug free.

Perfectly stocked!

We have stayed at this community 4 years in a row. This has been the best ocean front 3-bedroom townhome. Kitchen is amazingly stocked. We loved the umbrella on the balcony. Amelia beach is the best!

Great Location, not so sure about Vacasa

My family and I have stayed in this sailmaker complex for over 2 months combined over the last 4 years. The property is clean, nice and has a great location on the beach. My issue however is with Vacasa. When we arrived, the gate code provided did not work and we did not have any running water in the entire unit. In the past, I'd reach out to the owner/property manager on VRBO and we'd sort this out quickly. I learned pretty quickly that the person from Vacasa I was texting with was nowhere near Fernandina beach, and they would not put me in contact with someone who could fix the problem. All they could do was submit a ticket. It took about 5 hours to actually hear from someone in Amelia Island who could help. We also never got the correct gate code. Vacasa was quick to ask if I was typing it in the right way. This was all a serious disappointment given our great experiences in other units. We also paid top dollar for this condo since it was the weekend of the Amelia car show. I will definitely look to rent in Sailmaker again, but will not do it through Vacasa.

What a view!

Unit was nicely updated and decorated. Clean and well appointed. Kitchen was well stocked for a rental. Summer Beach Location was private , quiet. Views from the unit were absolutely beautiful. We will come again.

Nice property

We really enjoyed our stay at this beach house. It was a beautiful spot and we loved Amelia Island and Fernandina. The rental has a very nice atmosphere and is nicely decorated. We only had two complaints- we often ran out of hot water when taking showers (only four of us but usually all showering around the same time) and the clothes dryer is sadly slow. I felt guilty about how much energy I must be wasting trying to dry our beach towels. But, those two things are small potatoes to the amount of fun we had on the beach!

This unit was really nice. Very convenient to get to the beach, pool, and parking. Beds were comfortable. If you have small children, the shower in the twin bedroom has extremely strong pressure and the shower head is not adjustable. My kids couldn't handle the pressure bc it hurt their skin. Dishwasher wouldn't work, called the management company and they fixed it that same day! No complaints. It was great!

Great stay minor negatives

They place was Great and clean. Excellent location and amenities. Three negatives I would say are minor but something to consider. The washer/dryer unit was a bit small and dated, the window in the master shower was only half frosted and made us feel uneasy about showering since neighbors could see into the shower from outside. Third issue was the pictures in the master bedroom were a bit strange to have in the master bedroom. Close up pictures of people made us feel weird. These three things are minor issues really, and I'm sure most people would simply ignore them. Just wanted to share our honest opinion. These things would not prevent us from staying here again as the stay was great! We really loved it!

Great Property

We had a great time here. The condo is furnished very nicely and we had plenty of space. It’s quick easy walk to beautiful beach that was often empty. We would not hesitate to visit this property again.

We love the Sailmaker property- beautifully kept grounds, great beach access and gorgeous views. We were there for spring break and while it seemed like all the inputs were full, the beach are was not crowded at all. This unit is very spacious and well laid out. The upgrades to the kitchen and bathroom are very well done. The kitchen is adequately equipped for cooking meals and has a great view to the ocean. The porch is perfect for dining al fresco. It was a bonus to have the desk in the living area so my husband could do some work when needed. Our only complaint was that the beds were super uncomfortable. My husband and I did not get a good night's sleep the whole time we were there. The mattresses are thin with no box springs or mattress topper of any sort, and the pillows were were also thin and flat. If the bedding in all the bedrooms could be upgraded to match the quality of the kitchen, bath and living areas, it would be a perfect place to stay!

Wonderful stay

My family had a wonderful time while on spring break at Amelia island. We have stayed in this complex before and this unit was beautiful and spacious. It had wonderful beach views. I would say the only thing that could have been better were the mattresses on the beds. The king and queen beds both left us sore. Will be looking forward to coming again for our next island get-away!

We ended up checking out early and stayed at Ritz Carlton next door instead since this property on the main floor smelled very bad. Unsure if from sofa or where but a horrible musty odor.
