Hi, I`m John – and I`m thrilled to share our home with you while my family and I embark on a journey through Europe. This is a temporary listing, as we’ll be returning at the end of the year, so you’ll be staying in a space that’s truly lived-in, loved, and thoughtfully designed.
Our home is more than just a place to sleep – it’s a haven that has brought us comfort, joy, and serenity. You’ll find personal touches throughout, from custom features to cozy nooks, all created with care and intention. We kindly ask that you treat these elements with the same respect and gentleness we do.
Because we have a young child, the home is fully baby-proofed – making it a safe and welcoming space for families traveling with little ones. Whether you`re here for a weekend getaway or an extended stay, we hope our home offers you the same warmth and peace it has given us.

Free parking on-site. Easy access to major roads including Alpine Road and North Second Street. Downtown Rockford is 10 minutes by car. Chicago O`Hare Airport is 90 minutes away. Rockford City Lines provides local bus service, and rideshare services are readily available.
Check-out time is 11 am (unless otherwise approved).
Our Core Value is to be a good neighbor and comply with all local regulations. Therefore, all guests MUST agree to the house rules before/during their stay as this is a residential neighborhood.
- All guests are screened using our third-party partner, Autohost. In order to abide by all legal requirements and building security rules, you will be asked to provide a copy of your official government-issued photo ID, confirm your contact information, provide a valid credit card with a name that matches your ID, pass through our verification portal, pay a mandatory $500 security deposit and, in some instances, complete a criminal background check.

MAIL & PACKAGE DELIVERY
We discourage direct delivery to the building/apartment. It is recommended to make use of a nearby pickup/drop-off location to guarantee receipt of your mail/package.

- Absolutely no smoking; there`s a $100 penalty fee for removing smoke detectors.

* Please note guests staying longer than 28 days will be responsible for paying utilities used during their stay.
We have a zero-tolerance policy for parties and smoking anywhere on our premises. All our units come equipped with noise sensors. While we do not anticipate the need, following multiple warnings, we will utilize local law enforcement to ensure compliance. Should removal be required, it will be done at the guest`s expense.
