Rock River Executive Inn is a spacious open concept home that overlooks the beautiful Rock River. Comfortably sleeps 11 guests with (2) full master suites, each with a queen bed, (2) queen sleeper sofas (1) super comfy chase lounger and (2) single roll-away beds. This amazing home offers all of the amenities!! Washer & Dryer, Cable and super fast WiFi, 3 TVs (1 in the great room and 1 in each bedroom) remote control fireplace, full kitchen with a dishwasher, a jetted tub, huge low profile walk in shower, amazing patio with a grill, views of the River and we are pet friendly.

The property has a huge outdoor venue that features commercial men’s and women’s bathrooms. The private enclosed yard offers plenty of room for small weddings, birthday parties and family reunions with lots of private parking for guests!

This property is versatile and can accommodate everyone’s vision of a perfect getaway or gathering.

AMAZING!

We enjoyed everything about our stay! We loved the location - so easy to get anywhere from there. Delightful

Kristy is a wonderful host! We had some big storms come in on our first two nights and she communicated wonderfully to check in on us.There was fresh fruit available and it made it easier to come in and rest before we went out for groceries. Among a few other wonderful setups that just made staying more enjoyable.My family loved the open concept! It was way better than all of us staying at a hotel, because we had the chance to spend extra time together (one relative flew in from Canada!). Board games were there, so we played a lot too!Location is good, hidden near the lake. We were just a little worried when all the rain came in how comfortable we would be if it flooded Overall, great place if you’re looking for a home near/around Rockford!

So spacious!!

Loved staying here! Sitting out back on the porch drinking coffee with the view of the river and the trees was so relaxing. The hosts were super sweet and they had a ton of extra blankets, basically everything you need. Would definitely rent this out again next time we visit

The property was clean and easily accessible from family in Belvidere. There was breakfast food and fruit available ipon arrival. This was a pet friendly location and this made it easier to bring them along as well.

Happy 23 anniversary

We had a wonderful weekend. It was nice to sit back and relax. We was close to Chicago so we went there to see some sights. Also close to galena to go do some shopping. Just all around great weekend for wife and I to celebrate our 23 anniversary!

Large Great Room with a river view

We were happy to be able to take a vacation with our dogs. Although the property wasn't fully fenced in, it had a very large yard -- which was great for the kids & dogs to play. The great room was indeed large with some nice views of the river. The amenities were also very nice -- lots of supplies and the breakfast fixings were a nice touch.

Thanksgiving 2024

Our Thanksgiving family celebration was absolutely wonderful thanks to Kristy and this spacious well equipped space. Any family that needs wheelchair accessible, and has family pets, plus roomy accommodations, this is the place for you. The added treats for pets and people were a nice touch, as well. We also saw an eagle and watched a fox and bunny as we looked out at the Rock River! Thank you for everything!! 💜

Comfort and Convenience

The property manager was very kind and helpful to us. We were in Rockford for an emergency trip due to family illness. It was a real comfort to return to property each night to a warm fire and cup of hot tea.

Perfect place for our sister getaway

Property was very clean, nicely decorated, spacious, and well supplied. The back deck overlooking the river was perfect for coffee in the mornings. We were pleasantly surprised to find breakfast items, snacks, and even a birthday cake and card as she knew we were celebrating birthdays. Kristy was easy to get in touch with and very responsive for all inquiries. Her rating as a super host is well deserved. I would definately recommend.

Relaxing with Friends

When we arrived we found so many extras, fruit basket, muffins, breakfast and treat items. Kristy was helpful from start to finish and kept in touch to make sure everything was going well. Our friends fell in love with the place. Our boys raced BMX during the three days and it was a great place to come back to relax, sit on the deck and grill out. Highly recommend!!!!

Beautiful open floor plan great house for gathering

This place is a big open living area with two master suites.... hosted a great Easter Day gathering for family and it was ideal....Kristi was wonderful before during and after. Maintenance staff responded immediately to a couple of needs....we had a great time here.... kitchen was fully equipped to cook for just three or a dozen.... loved the electric fireplace n deck n huge play yard too

Great stay

Property is as described and was very well equipped. Bedrooms and bathrooms were very nice, quiet and comfortable. Kitchen was also well equipped and plenty of dishes. We had a family dinner with about 20 people and there was plenty of space. It would be really nice to use the outside space, but our stay was in the middle of January. Kristy was and excellent host and very responsive. We had to adjust our schedule because of a winter storm and she made it work for us. That was a huge help and much appreciated!

AMAZING home away from home, close to home!

From booking to check-out, we had a spectacular experience! We had family coming in from out of town to celebrate our Christmas and our apartment was just too small to accommodate them but we wanted everyone under one roof. Kristy was so helpful and accommodating with stockings on the mantle, a fully decorated Christmas tree and extra beds for the kids. (The jacuzzi tub was an AMAZING bonus for the wife and I as we only have a stand up shower at home lol) Very clean and beautiful home with a great view of the river from the back porch. Along with the juices, bottled water and snacks; we absolutely couldn't have asked for a better place to relax, make memories and enjoy some solid, quality time with family. 10 out of 10!!! 😊😊😊

Unusual, But Comfy Property

Home is different in its design as it is one huge living area accompanied by 2 full baths and one 1/2 bath inside. Found out later there is a public restroom outside for use when other events are planned. Quite a large front and side area to accomodate social events too. We were pleasantly surprised with the conditions inside - most items in great shape and of good quality. Huge jacuzzi tub in one bath and walk in shower in other. Both had 2 shower heads!!! Plenty of household goods (sheets, towels, glasses, dishes, silverware,etc) for our needs. Also supplied cleaning products, snacks, coffee, sugar, tea, condiments etc. There was even orange juice, bagels, eggs, butter, cream cheese, ketchup, mustard and mayo in the fridge. Also some pelligrino (put couple of bottles up above fridge since we did not drink this.). Any problems were handled very quickly. Was peaceful to be on the river and I understand the old apartment units are scheduled for demolotion - should make for a much nicer view. Tad's (great burgers!) down the way was not overly bothersome with noise, but did get quite crowded the last Sunday we were there. Kristy was wonderful to deal with and even gave us a gift card to try out JK Nippon in Rockford - great Japanese food! We also ate at Sam's Italian and RBI-both had excellent food. We were in Rockford to visit with family and friends. Didn't do much exploring of Rockford itself. We were quite pleased with Rockford Executive Inn and do recommend it.
