Mit umlaufenden Balkonen, Fenstern und Glastüren rundum und am Wasser hat dieses Haus eine unvergleichliche Aussicht und Brise. Riesige private Anlegestelle mit Stufen hinunter zum weißen Sand türkisfarbenen Wasser, zwei große Sitzecken mit Strohdach Tiki für Schatten mit einer Sunset Tiki Bar, die das schöne Wasser überhängt. Große aufblasbare Insel mit Kopfstütze und Getränkehalter, am Morgen abgebunden, sorgt für endlosen Spaß und Entspannung. Sie müssen sich keine Sorgen um die Kinder machen, denn dies sind die Knochenfische, was neben unglaublichen türkisfarbenen Gewässern mit weißem Sandboden auch keine Drop-Offs, keinen Sog, nur genug Wellen, um die Geräusche zu genießen und das Wasser ist nur 3 -4 Fuß tief am tiefsten soweit man laufen oder schwimmen kann.

We are on a well, please don't run run run water, it will run the well dry and it will take a few days to fill back up. Rarely happens.

What word comes to mind when staying at Aqua Vista…UNFORGETABLE! Aqua Vista has a little something for everyone…beach combing and critter hunting, sunbathing and relaxing on the dock and floating island, snorkeling, paddle boarding and kayaking for the adventurer and shallow waters calm enough that you can just stand and chill or float for as long as you’d like. The view is spectacular! We enjoyed many coffee filled sunrises on the dock and happy hour cocktails later in the day. Kitchen was well stocked for our meals in. There was never a time that we didn’t have what we needed, including the stock of spices and herbs that we helped to contribute to. We enjoyed our evenings in playing UNO and streaming movies as the WiFi connection was great! My husband was also able to keep up with work emails a bit during our down time in the early morning. We loved visiting Roy’s Lounge and the restaurants in town on our evenings out. Eric and Gina were fantastic to work with and we were grateful for the videos and detailed files we received prior to our visit. They were only a text away with any questions we had and got back to us very quickly. We used many of their recommendations for our excursions and when renting a car for the six of us. I think the other feature of the house we enjoyed was the outdoor bathroom. Not only were the outdoor showers the best, but I loved all the special decorating touches. It was so hard to leave and we can’t wait to go back!

It was just as described if not better! We had so much fun and relaxation at Aqua Vista. The only thing that I would change if I could is the access to the house. Be Prepared! I highly recommend a jeep or a vehicle with a higher profile. We had two sedans and although they worked it was difficult and slow every time we left and came back. That being said I would 100% stay again! It had everything you needed including peace and serenity. Communication with the property owner is excellent. They checked in to make sure all was going well. Answered any and ALL questions I had. Can’t speak highly enough about this place!

Amazing Property

I can't recommend this property enough! We had the best trip. 7 people total - 4 adults and 3 kids (all under 9) and we had plenty of space. The kitchen was well stocked. The kayaks and paddleboards got used every day and were a nice addition. The outdoor shower was a treat! I had to work a few days while we were there and the wi-fi worked well. Eric and Gina were extremly responsive and made sure we were taken care of every step of the way. All the videos sent before the trip were really beneficial. If you are on the fence, book the trip!

Relaxing and Quiet

The property was in a great location, close enough to George Town but far enough away at the same time. We often felt as if we were on our own island. The owner does a great job explaining what to expect and ensure you are able to navigate to the property. The upstairs rooms were spacious and provided a great view of the water. While the water can be rough at times depending how the wind is blowing, it didn't stop us from doing several miles of kayaking! We really enjoyed the quietness of the property and definitely recommend an SUV to navigate the final roads to the house.We did experience one hiccup due to a mechanical issue, that the owner did his best to resolve. He was very quick with communication as he coordinated with his local property manager. Overall, good experience, the property has everything you need to enjoy your day!

Perfect

This villa felt so homely and had such a lovely soul, we have never felt so comfortable in a rented villa before. The kids loved playing in the calm waters around the villa and there is a really sweet little reef close by with quite a large array of small fish for the kids to snorkel around and look at. The beach is exposed at low tide and makes a lovely seating spot, as does the decking and pier! Sunrises are spectacular from here. The 2 rooms downstairs are on the outside of the property so more suited to older children but the area is very safe so we had no worries about our kids having their own “pad”. We took the free kayaks down to the nearby blue hole and saw sting rays, turtles and masses of fish - definitely worth while on a calm day. We cooked every night in the villa - it’s very well stocked with all the essentials and a few extras. 100% recommended

Incredible view!

Property is exactly as advertised. Great view, clean rooms, every kitchen item you could need. A family group of 7 was very comfortable with the 4 bedrooms and common areas. Eric kept in contact to ensure we had everything we needed and Tony (on island) was very helpful. Even though the drive in was a little bumpy, it was very doable each day. The property was very quiet and private but only 15 minutes to restaurants and shopping. And, did I mention the view!

Amazing location

There were 4 adults for this stay. It was our first time at Aqua Vista and first time on the island. The house was great; very clean kitchen was well equipped and there was plenty of water toys and lots of new snorkel gear. The decks were great and the views went very n for miles from the east west and south, water, water, water.The communication was great. We will be back!

The Aqua Vista property reflects the pride and pleasure I heard in Eric’s voice every time we connected before our visit. Eric was very helpful in guiding us through some VRBO glitches and sent videos of the property. Great Experience

Overall this property was great! Clean, well kept and stocked, had everything that we needed and plenty of space. The location on the water was beautiful. It was a little further out from things down a bumpy road, but that didn't take away from the experience overall. Tony met us and showed us to the property as well as around Georgetown to get supplies. Eric (host) was super responsive to any questions we had and very helpful. Would definitely recommend!

Our family enjoyed our stay here and loved the privacy. Beautiful water at our doorstep. House is a little dated, but looks like some things have been recently updated. We didn’t have water one day, but was restored in a decent amount of time. Tony, the property manager went above and beyond for us.

The house and the location was perfection for my family. The teens loved the two bedrooms downstairs and the upstairs was perfect for my husband and daughter and I. Beautiful Home and Great Location

Aqua Vista is a wonderful house in a beautiful location in the middle of the island. The dock, water, and swimming area are just as beautiful as described. The road to the house is also just as bad as described, but it adds to the charm and adventure (and amazingly not the worst road we drove). Eric and Tony were great - very informative and quick to respond to any questions. We stayed in the beginning of October and the island was still "opening up" with many of the restaurants we wanted to try still closed - just something to keep in mind. But on the bright side there were very few other tourists.

This place is off the beating path, exactly what we wanted . We had our own private beach area , never once saw a neighbor even though there’s a home next door. The owner has thought of literally everything you might need there . There’s a closet in the kitchen area that has EVERYTHING you can think of that you forgot to bring lol. The views are incredible!

We had a nice stay at Aqua Vista. The views of the crystal blue waters will take your breath away. The dock was our favorite place to be. On the drive to Aqua Vista heed the warnings of the roads, once you turn off of Queen’s Highway (the island’s main highway) the roads are rough. The time to get from Aqua Vista to the highway is about 15 minutes. Once at Aqua Vista the first thing you notice is the vast ocean scenery, it does not disappoint. The kayaks, paddle boards and scuba gear are a big bonus! The house is nice. Unfortunately we found cleanliness to be lacking in the kitchen. The blender was dirty, the stove top was dirty, there were little bugs crawling on the counters. The bugs were so small I couldn’t tell what they were, I did get some videos of them. There was some cleaner under the sink so I wiped everything down. We chalked up bugs to the tropical location and moved on. The rest of the house and bathrooms were clean. (I recommend packing good toilet paper, paper towels and as much food as you can.) We had an issue with the water while there. The power went out for 2 hours (this happens on the island) when the power came back on, the water was sputtering, a toilet upstairs would run for a long time after flushing, we woke up to no water one morning. It took about 10 hours to get water back. We turned the toilet off for the remainder of our stay and had no issues. Aqua Vista is a beautiful location, it’s so quiet. If you’re looking for peace, this is it.

Gina and I(Eric) live in Dallas. Gina was married for 30 years to a wonderful man name Tad who found this home years ago and it was his dream to just get away with his wonderful wife and have to rent as well.

Tad and his father did most all construction along the way and unfortunately Tad was lost during covid. After Gina and I got together I started running the rental side for her and we have done our best to keep the vibe and legacy that Tad has started and accomplished for so many years.

This is a retirement and 2nd home for Gina and we love that it is a place that you can make many memories that will endure a lifetime. We strive to keep the home updated as we go and we love it to be homey just for us.

We hope you feel the spirit of Tad while you are out on the dock just enjoy all that nature is giving you.

This is the get away of get aways. You will be secluded and may never see another soul while you are there. As you drive up to the property you will be asking where are they taking us. We actually enjoy the secluded bumpy road to the house. Almost no traffic ever on our road, you get to be alone without visitors.

Location is key. We are on the more remote side of the island, but it is right in the middle and only 10 minutes from our front door to the Exuma market downtown, that is because you need to drive slow on the the back roads. You can get to Santana's at the southern end in 30 minutes or less, you can go on the pig tour in less than a hour drive from our house.

If you want to get away and just feel like the world is a better place and not see big barges, people everywhere and just love shallow calm water then this is for you.
