Wake up to the sound of waves. Step off your deck onto your own private beach.
Tucked along the shores of Tar Bay on Great Exuma, this secluded 2BR/2BA beach cottage offers something most Caribbean properties simply can't — a semi-private beach that will make you feel like it is all yours, with world-class snorkeling just 40 yards from your deck.
*This is not a condo or part of a resort. It's your own private piece of the Bahamas!

THE BEACH & WATER:
Crystal-clear water, soft sand, and zero crowds. Everything you need is included: 2 kayaks, a paddle board, 5 sets of snorkeling gear, beach chairs, a Yeti cooler, a waterproof Bluetooth speaker and a large JBL karaoke boombox. The snorkeling reef just off the deck is genuinely world-class.

THE BEACH COTTAGE:
The main level features an open living area with panoramic ocean views from every window, a full kitchen, and a master bedroom with smart TV & a king bed. The living room has a queen sleeper sofa and smart TV. The lower level (private entrance) has a queen and a twin bed — perfect for families or groups. Sleeps up to 6 comfortably.
Everything is refreshed and ready: new A/C units, new beds with pillow-top mattresses, new kitchen, new windows, new outdoor furniture, and a new refrigerator — all updated around 2023.

THE LOCATION:
5 minutes from Exuma International Airport (GGT). 10-12 minutes to George Town. Grocery stores, restaurants, a liquor store, and a meat market all within a few miles.

The stay was amazing, super close to everything. The property is literally a piece of heaven. Travis and Resa were easy and great to work with. The place has everything you could ever need - umbrellas, yeti coolers, jbl speakers, snorkel gear, the list goes on and on! Outstanding! We can’t say enough about our recent trip and how enormously lucky we are to have found Paradise Point house. Travis has been a stellar host going above and beyond. When our flight to Exuma was cancelled he even jumped onto the computer trying to find solutions for us! (The airline did finally get us there) He and Theresa (Resa) were always ready with answers to our questions or recommendations. The kayaks were awesome, the snorkel gear perfect! But the house!! If you are lucky enough to find it available, book it! It truly is your own private slice of Paradise.

Amazing Stay at Paradise Point

Highly recommend this property. The house is right on the beach with everything you need. It's also centrally located and easy drive to anywhere on the island. We had the best time at Paradise Point! You can't beat the location - right on Tar Bay with a beautiful beach right outside the door. Perfect place

We loved this house- beautiful view of the ocean and the beach felt secluded and private. It was close to the airport and easy to find. Travis was very helpful, setting up our car rental and connecting us with locals for amazing tours. He made everything easy!

The owner and caretaker are incredible. The house is comfortable. The privacy is perfect. The view is incredible. It's perfectly located for access to both Tropic of Cancer and Coco Plum beaches. We had several good meals at local restaurants. I highly recommend this property.

Perfect, beautiful location

The view from this house is outstanding, and the location on the island could not be better. There is an incredible reef in the water just out from the house, too, so the snorkeling is amazing. So many great items are included like kayaks and snorkel gear - you have everything you need. The owner is the most helpful and involved owner I’ve ever experienced, and that goes a long way, too. The whole trip just blew us away.

Fabulous Week at Paradise Point

Paradise Point was the perfect location on the island. So convenient to everything. We loved the house - clean, comfortable and cute as it can be! And the VIEW - Absolutely amazing view from every room in the house! Travis and Resa went above and beyond in making sure our stay was exceptional with their communications, restaurant suggestions and things to see and do. Best rental ever! Paradise Point

We were 100% satisfied with everything at Paradise point. Travis and Resa were great to work with. We have had some good VRBO hosts in the past but they are in a league of their own. The property was very clean and well stocked with anything you might need for your vacation and the views and beach right out front are 2nd to none. We would highly recommend Paradise point! Great communication

Travis provided a lot of details and useful info about the island before and during our stay and helped arrange the rest of our program on the Exumas incl. a car rental, taxi ride, sightseeing trips etc. The house was beautiful and well equiped and the location right on the beach is great!

Secluded Beach & Gorgeous Views

We had a terrific time at this property and would come back anytime. It’s no frills inside but very well stocked, amazing views from every room. The location is very private, we only saw 7 people walk by the whole week on the beach at the house. The host was extremely communicative and made sure we had a great time. We’ll be back! Thanks!

Idyllic get-away-from-it-all beach cottage

This property is all about location--smack on a beautiful stretch of little-traveled beach, with killer views out the window. The rooms are actually larger than the pictures suggest, the kitchen is well-equipped, and the cabinets were stocked with plenty of towels. To be clear, this isn't the Four Seasons--everything is a bit rustic and worn--but hey, that's why you came to the Exumas rather than Nassau! We enjoyed our week, and this property, immensely.

Great vacation rental. Very private. Awesome for all ages.

Travis was an excellent host. Was very helpful in organizing my vacation including car rental and cab rides. Very quick to answer any questions. House was very comfortable and well supplied.. Perfect Piece of Paradise

From start to finish owner Travis was very helpful and connected us with locals on the island to offer vehicle rental, boat trips, and on call person if we needed help. Exuma has the most breath taking turquoise blue waters and beaches. Paradise Point is perfectly located close to the airport and George Town which offers groceries, coffee shops, and places to eat. Make sure to make a trip to Chat N Chill for Conch Salad. We will stay again.
