Es liegt 5 km südlich von Georgetown auf einem Hügel, nur wenige Schritte vom Meer entfernt. Egal ob Sie angeln, schnorcheln, Boot fahren, Kajak fahren oder einfach nur entspannen möchten, Sie werden in dieser wunderschönen tropischen Umgebung nicht enttäuscht sein! Das Wetter ist das ganze Jahr über schön, sodass Sie Ihre Reise jederzeit planen und Ihren Aufenthalt im Paradies genießen können! Wonderful stay at House on the Hill! Beautifully decorated and super clean! Great view from the deck and really appreciated the screened in deck. The kitchen was well appointed, plenty of dishes and cookware and plenty of fresh bottled water.The road to get to the house is very rough! Would've liked to have rented a 4-wheel vehicle to drive it, our Toyota Rava rental did okay, but the road was very rough, unpaved. There was plenty of snorkels, flippers, kayaks, coolers, chairs to take to the beach so really appreciated all of that! Easy access to get the kayaks to the water was not apparent to us so we opted not to use the kayaks. The house was private with great views and well appointed!

House on the Hill did not disappoint. This was our second time renting here and it was as beautiful as I remember. Very clean, lovely decorations, kitchen and baths with everything we needed and more. Loved the enclosed deck area which was new since our last visit. The only issue is the road coming in but I’m used to that in Exuma. You just take it slow and steady. Thank you Darla for sharing your home once again. We will definately be back again. Great home with lots of goodies in great location

House on the Hill was a great location for our family. We were able to visit little Exuma south/east of us and Georgetown was only 15 minutes north west of us. The roads were a little tricky since most of the neighborhood roads in Exuma are not paved, but just take it slow. The house was stocked with most items even down to a muffin pan. Loved the views from both sides of the home! The host was quick to respond and we look forward to visiting again!

Great Vacation in Exuma

The property was great and the scenery in Exuma OUTSTANDING. The beaches are incredible. Our only challenge was the roads leading to the property, if possible you really need a car with good ground clearance (SUV or Crossover) for piece of mind, the road claimed a rental car on our trip. Despite the road and the rental car we are already thinking about our next trip to the Exumas and we would definitely consider House on The Hill.

Georgetown visit

To say everything was excellent is an understatement. Everything was as advertised. Close enough to downtown George Town, but far enough away to give complete privacy. The back porch affords beautiful views. Comfortably furnished.Two kayaks for the boys(short walk to the gin-clear water) Fishing pole for the old guy. Definitely recommend this residence

Nice quiet, clean, well maintained home

Very good correspondence with the owner, clean towels& bedding, comfortable bed, comfortable living room furniture, nice view of mangroves and water..had kayaks&a paddle board but we did not use. We did not even use the tv lol. We did use the internet for our phones and it worked great. Everything you need to cook if you chose to. Very nice stay!

12 nights in paradise

House on the hill was a perfect home for our vacation. The view over the mangroves and watching the sunset were stunning. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, etc. The split bedroom floor plan was great for our family trip. The living room provided plenty of room to lounge inside and still enjoy the views. I definitely enjoyed the screened porch for some quiet time. We used the Kayaks and paddle board to get to the cays across the way which was a fun day spent nearby. Darla was very prompt and kind with all of my questions. We would stay here again!

Island home-Enjoy the privacy!

Darla's home is very well maintained and is supplied with all you need for a week on the island. Very spacious for a large family or a few couples. The views from the porch and the outdoor shower were our favorites. Very secluded lot to enjoy the peacefulness and the sounds of nature. We rented a car for the week and drove to Tropic of Cancer Beach, Coco Plum Beach and Barraterre Dock for an excursion with Triple A Adventures; all three great choices. Just a short walk from the house to access the shoreline. Kayaks and paddle board were a big plus as well. Definitely enjoyed our stay-the island beaches are beautiful!!

Loved House on the Hill

Perfect Hidden Gem with Everything You Need and Much More!

Just got back from our 6 night stay at House on the Hill- really wish it had been longer! Spectacular views, peaceful location (just a few birds sang to us!), comfy beds, perfect amount of space to spread out (inside and outside), beautiful island-style decor, and a different sunset every evening. Darla is a super helpful and responsive host. Made use of the kayaks and SUP to paddle over to the nearby blue hole - and the water in Bonefish Flats was SO warm. It was our first trip to Exuma, so we headed out most days to explore (bringing the provided cooler, beach towels, chairs, mat and umbrella)- could have used a few more days of just chilling at the house :) Thank you so much, Darla!!!!

Fun in Paradise!

We had an awesome time at the House on the Hill! The house had everything that we needed, and was very clean and spacious. The views are outstanding! We had coffee on the deck every morning, enjoyed the breeze, and would take in the absolute beauty of Bonefish Flats. We spent our days kayaking, paddle boarding, and snorkeling right at the end of the road. We also went a few times to the Tropic of Cancer beach, where in my opinion, is the most beautiful place I have ever had the pleasure of visiting and enjoying! Darla, is very helpful and made the trip easy to make. Right after we arrived and were settling in, Kay the local who looks after the house, stopped by and made sure that we had everything we needed and that the house was found to our liking. Thank you again for helping our family make wonderful memories together!

We love all the natural light and stunning sea views! Our home features a large great room (living/dining/kitchen) for entertaining and enjoying time together with your family and friends. The great room has beautiful Caribbean style vaulted wood ceiling and 3 patio slider doors for incredible sea views! Each room has separate air conditioning units as well as ceiling fans for individual comfort. Our home has wood bamboo floors throughout and is decorated with island décor.
