Maggie's family retreat feedback

We found Maggie's family retreat a great place to stay. We spent a month at Maggie's when we moved to Australia beginning May 2025. Maggie is a great host and she went above & beyond to make us feel welcome. Her property is fully fenced, with a great entertainment area out the back. It is also pet friendly which means our dog & cat enjoyed their stay while we started our new life in WA.Property close to beach for swimming, Rockingham mall for all your shopping needs & Rockingham station for an easy commute into Perth.

Serenity at Safety Bay

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, Maggie was a great communicator and always got back to me promptly. The house and garden are lovely, it felt very homely. The local beach is beautiful and sunset walks are a must. Thanks again Maggie for your kindness, it was lovely to meet you. 😊

Just lovely

Very neat, clean and tidy. Maggie was very nice and accommodating. Close to all shops and hospital . Everything we required was provided, our dog loved the big back yard and quick walk to the nearby park.We will definitely be going back on a regular basis. Thank you so much Maggie.

Jordan was a unreliable young guy and unsuitable stayed at my place. My place welcome nice people & good behavior pet. The reservation was for 2 adults with a pet. When Jordan checked in with a male partner, when he checked out with another girl. Actually 3 adults with a unfriendly dog stayed. During Jordan's group staying, he texted to me and said everything was OK. But, So Surprise for his review, unable to use, unbearable, etc. etc... when I came to the house and put the bin out, the dog barking inside and a girl watching out from the window, but I never met her before.

Comfortable and Homely

Staying at Maggie's was like visiting Grandma's house. I was made to feel instantly welcome, even before I arrived communication was fantastic, friendly and really easy. My questions were answered in a timely manner and I found Maggie to be a supremely friendly host. Me and my fur baby felt at home, the location was really great to access Rockingham shops and the beach and I left feeling really refreshed and ready to face the world again. Am trying to find another excuse to come back to Perth so I can stay at Maggies again!

Lovely home to stay for a few days or more with everything you need.

Central location for the area, very close to highways and local amenities, warm home with everything we needed to be comfortable and very affordable, would recommend for that HQ for the family to stay while in the area. Not fancy but very convenient

This house was adequate for holidaying with a small number of people. The kitchen was equipped with just enough. The BBQ , oven, microwave and fridge were clean and the yard was large and secure, suitable for our pet. Maggie was very accomadating and willing to help, she had a bowl of fresh fruit for us and a lovely parting gift. Worth booking if you're in need of a low cost pet friendly stay thats not fancy but conveniently close to Rockingham shops and beaches.

Bmx States Trip 2019

We were met with an amazing greeting and tour through the house. Fresh fruit and biscuits were waiting for us. The house was so clean and comfortable. When the time came to depart we were met with road trip snacks for our family. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting an affordable, accommadating, easy and friendly stay. Good Value Accomodation.

We enjoyed our stay at this property, it was very clean, comfortable and had all you need for your stay. There were extras of fruit, milk and biscuits with a coffee machine, coffee pods.
