From the moment you arrive, youâll feel the weight lift off your shoulders. Handcrafted from local woods and inspired by Japanese design, this retreat sits in a 5,000mÂČ private gardenâperfect for couples or anyone seeking to reconnect with nature.
The cabin sits just outside a charming Azorean village. Once you arrive, youâll feel worlds awayâyet within a 10-minute drive youâll reach a beach and natural ocean pool, plus bars, restaurants, and markets. In 20 minutes you can soak in the thermal baths of Furnas or Ribeira Grande, and in 30 minutes youâll be in downtown Ponta Delgada and the airport. For nature lovers, hiking trails begin right at the doorstep.
Bedroom
Inside, a full king-size bed (180x200cm) with fresh bedding, towels, and beach towels awaits. Next to it, sink into cozy chairs and watch the clouds drift past the floor-to-ceiling windows.
Kitchen
The kitchen features a scenic breakfast bar and everything you need to cook: a full-size fridge and freezer, a premium DeLonghi espresso maker, electric stovetop, microwave, toaster, and plenty of cookware and dishes.
Bathroom
After a day of exploring, unwind in the spacious, light-filled bathroom, complete with a bidet and a relaxing rainfall shower.
Terrace & Garden
Explore native plants, pick fresh fruits and vegetables from the garden, relax on the private lawn, or curl up with a book on the patio. In summer, sip a glass of wine while watching the sunset from the terrace, or stargaze from the comfort of your bed.

What I love most is the balance it offers. The cabin itself feels completely secluded and private, surrounded by greenery, so you can truly switch off and feel immersed in nature. At the same time, the charming village of Maia is just outside the gate, making it easy to go for a walk, grab a coffee, or feel connected to local life whenever you want.
