We’re Rick and Ashley, and Pura Vidaville is the realization of our dream to create a true sanctuary near Rio Celeste. This land is incredibly special to us—it’s where we transitioned from Canadian travelers to Costa Rican locals and where we started our life together.

We want you to feel that same magic. Whether you’re here for the wildlife or the waterfalls, we’ve prepared a space that is clean, cool, and incredibly peaceful. We stay close by to ensure everything is perfect for your stay, while giving you the space to truly disconnect and recharge. ¡Pura Vida!

Why we chose this neighborhood:
Honestly, we chose this spot because it felt like a secret paradise. When we first came up the road, we were captivated by the incredible peace and the vibrant green of the rainforest. It was exactly the authentic Costa Rican experience we wanted to build our lives around.

The scene and what we enjoy most:
The "scene" here is all about nature! Our road has very little traffic, so it feels incredibly private and secluded. What we enjoy most is the daily wildlife parade—we wake up to the sound of toucans and howler monkeys and often see other amazing creatures right from the property. It’s a very safe and friendly area where you can truly unplug and just listen to the sounds of the jungle. It's our slice of heaven, and we love being able to share it.

You get the immersive experience of the rainforest—the sounds, the wildlife—without the inconveniences. Our newly-built, solid concrete cabins feature rare amenities like high-speed Fiber Optic Wi-Fi, powerful air conditioning, and a fully sealed, bug-free design, ensuring your jungle sanctuary is comfortable and relaxing.

3. Thoughtful Hosting: As hosts who live nearby, we've poured our hearts into creating the experience we would want for ourselves. From stocking the kitchen with complimentary breakfast supplies and snacks to providing adventure gear like hiking poles and waterproof bags, we've tried to think of every detail to make your stay seamless, special, and truly unforgettable.
