The property does not have a jacuzzi; it has an in-ground sitting pool and swimming pool, which is described in the listing. I’m sorry for any confusion there. Thank you for your message. I’d like to provide clarification regarding the amenities and conditions during your stay. The fireplace in the home is decorative and intended for aesthetic purposes only. As stated in the listing, the home does not offer air conditioning or heating, which is standard for homes in Nuevo Arenal. The pool and sitting tub are professionally serviced and cleaned twice weekly. In addition, the pool is equipped with an automatic filtration and cleaning system that runs daily in between professional cleanings to maintain water quality. When the sitting tub is being heated, the pool’s filtration and automatic cleaning system cannot operate simultaneously. For this reason, heating the sitting tub is scheduled for a limited number of hours per day—typically around three hours—based on guest requests and coordinated around the required cleaning cycles. Running the heating system continuously is not possible, as it would prevent proper pool filtration and maintenance. Due to the natural jungle environment and frequent high winds, leaves and flowers will enter the pool between cleaning cycles. This is unavoidable in this setting. For guest convenience, a pool net is provided so light debris can be easily removed if desired. Please note that the property does not have daily on-site staff or on-call personnel to remove natural debris between scheduled cleanings. Regarding the internet outage, this was caused by infrastructure repairs being performed by ICE, the national power and telecommunications provider. The outage affected a large portion of the country and was entirely outside of our control.
