We sincerely apologize that the home was warmer than expected when you arrived. During the extreme New York heat wave, we later discovered that a window had been left open after the previous guests checked out, which prevented the air conditioning from cooling the home as quickly as it normally would. Once the window was closed, I believe you were managed to close it I am sure the house cooled down and became comfortable. Thank you again for your patience and valuable feedback. We appreciate all guest feedback, although we were surprised by some of your comments. We consistently receive positive reviews regarding the cleanliness and condition of the home, and concerns about the furniture or cleanliness have not been raised by previous guests. We work hard to provide a home that offers excellent value for the price, especially considering its size, location, and amenities. We also noticed that the reservation was made for 2 guests, while your group ultimately consisted of 11 people. This made it difficult for us to anticipate the amount of bedding and supplies that would be needed. We keep additional comforters and linens stored in the basement for guests to use if needed. Regarding the kitchen, it is equipped with everything disclosed in our listing. We strive to accurately represent the amenities we provide, and anything beyond those listed items is not included as part of the rental. At both check-in and during your stay, I sent messages asking if there was anything you needed or if I could help in any way. Had any of these concerns been brought to my attention at the time, I would have done my best to address them immediately and make your stay as comfortable as possible.
