We’re here for you anytime via phone, text, or Airbnb messages—and our local manager is available 24/7 for emergencies. Need recommendations for teen-friendly fun or help setting the scene for a cozy night in? Just let us know—we’re happy to help make your stay seamless and special.
**ABOUT THE NEIGHBORHOOD**
This beautifully designed cabin is tucked away in a quiet section of upper Moonridge, surrounded by towering oaks and pines. With its modern rustic style and unique architecture, it feels like a refined treehouse — complete with multi-level decking that invites you to relax, take in distant mountain views, and enjoy the peaceful seclusion of the forest.
Though it feels worlds away from the hustle of town, you're never far from anything Big Bear has to offer. Whether you're heading to the slopes, the lake, the village, or local dining, you’re just a short 10-minute drive from it all.
For outdoor lovers, there’s a local trailhead just a 15-minute walk up the road at the top of our street — perfect for a peaceful hike without ever getting in the car. It’s the best of both worlds: tranquil, elevated living with easy access to every seasonal adventure.
**ABOUT THE MOUNTAIN**
Our cabin is located in beautiful Big Bear Lake, a peaceful and scenic mountain community surrounded by nature. We assume you're booking this space because you want that true mountain vibe: crisp air, towering trees, and quiet nights under the stars.
But let’s be real, mountain life also means mountain wildlife is possible. You may encounter animals like squirrels, raccoons, coyotes, deer, rabbits, foxes, bears, or even a mountain lion if you’re lucky. These animals are indigenous to the area, and a sighting is possible anywhere you stay in Big Bear Lake. That’s not a flaw, that’s the feature. It’s part of what makes this place magical.
By booking this cabin, you are acknowledging that you understand Big Bear Lake is a wilderness community. Wildlife sightings, though not often, are possible. Your booking confirms your awareness and acceptance of this natural environment.
You’ll have full access to the entire home and private yard during your stay.
There are just a few areas reserved for owner use and safety: locked cabinets (labeled) in the kitchen near the side door, locked cabinets above the kitchen sink, locked cabinets (labeled) in the second-floor hallway, a private loft with a ladder that is off-limits, a locked closet in the basement bedroom and a storage shed in the upper driveway. We kindly ask that you do not attempt to access these areas during your stay, as doing so will result in immediate cancellation and removal.
Parking is easy and convenient, with space for up to three vehicles across two private driveways. Flat driveway to the front door. No sketchy outdoor staircases. Easy, secure access — even in winter.
The left driveway leads directly to the front door — no steep or awkward outdoor staircases to climb while carrying luggage.
The right driveway provides direct access to the upper level and has just six steps, making it a great option for guests with mobility concerns.
Please note that the City of Big Bear Lake strictly prohibits street parking. All vehicles must be parked in designated driveways at all times.
Easy to find using your GPS. Drive straight to the cabin and park in one of the two driveways.
Planning a stay in Big Bear Lake? We’d be honored to host you at our modern rustic cabin, thoughtfully designed with luxurious touches to help you feel right at home.
**Capacity**
The city allows no more than 9 guests without risking a fine, however, our bed count suits 8 guests (1 per twin bed and 2 guests per king bed). We have beds for 8.
**Sanitized for your Safety**
Your comfort and peace of mind are our priority. We follow thorough cleaning protocols, and all bedding plus the spa is sanitized and documented between each guest stay.
**No Smoking, No Parties and No Pets Policy**
Please note that smoking, parties and pets are not allowed anywhere on the property.
**Security**
For your security, exterior cameras are installed at outdoor entry points only. There are no cameras inside the home nor in the hot tub area.
**Accessibility**
Unlike many homes in the area, our driveway is flat and easily accessible, so you won’t need to climb steep or icy stairs to enter—especially helpful in winter. Just drive right up to the entrance. The cabin is also well-suited for guests who prefer to avoid stairs. Both the main and upper levels have a bedroom and full bathroom. The upper level, which includes the kitchen, dining room, living area, deck, one bedroom, and one full bathroom, is just six steps up from the upper driveway.
**Parking**
We offer free parking for 3 vehicles within our two driveways.
**Trash Service**
Most cabins in Big Bear require you to haul your trash in your car to a local Trash Site. We make it easier. Just toss your bags in the bins in the driveway. The only time you'd need to take trash yourself is if it doesn't fit with the lid fully closed. Luxe stay, zero trash stress.
**Early Check-In & Late Check-Out Policy**
Early check-ins and late check-outs may be available upon request, subject to host approval and scheduling. When available, we allow up to 2 additional hours beyond the standard times (early check-in starting at 2:00 PM or late check-out until 1:00 PM). A flat fee of $50 applies. Availability must be confirmed in writing with the host prior to arrival or departure.
**Booking Procedure**
At the time of your booking inquiry, we will request some basic trip information—such as the purpose of your visit and who will be joining you. This helps us better prepare for your stay and ensure everything goes smoothly. Additionally, while not required on Airbnb, we kindly request a valid email address and phone number to help with communication and in case of emergencies. Sharing this information is optional but highly recommended.
To comply with local regulations and ensure a safe, seamless stay, we require the booking guest to complete a brief identity verification before arrival and sign the Rental Conditions Agreement. Both steps will be sent by Truvi, our trusted third-party provider, via email and/or text. Please be sure to complete them both at least 48 hours before check-in to avoid any delays in your arrival process.
Please note that guests must have positive reviews as the booking guest to be approved for booking.
