Located in the highly desirable Moonridge area, you’ll enjoy cozy mountain vibes with modern comforts and room to relax. Watch the many squirrels, chipmunks, and local birds in the surrounding pine trees; sometimes the wolves and coyote calls rise up from the new Zoo at the bottom of Moonridge.

Bedroom 2 (upstairs) - "Leopard's Lair", largest bedroom, Queen bed plus large futon sofa, private balcony with great views, double closet, a small section of one wall with railings, overlooks the living area below and has privacy screen to cover (not an enclosed room). The futon is suitable for a child to sleep on. (4 ppl)

Bedroom 3 (downstairs) - "Caribou Cave", Queen bed, attached bathroom, 2 windows (one out to Spa deck, the other out to the Mudroom with some view) (2 ppl)

Birch Bear Lodge is a spacious and charming mountain retreat located in the desirable Moonridge area of Big Bear Lake. From the expansive decks, you'll enjoy breathtaking lake and valley views, including unobstructed sights of Bear Mountain, the golf course, and even the 4th of July fireworks. This is one of the few homes in Big Bear with views this magical—perfect for watching sunsets or mountain activity year-round.

The Lodge features 3 comfortable bedrooms, 2 modern bathrooms, plenty of cozy touches like a wood-burning fireplace, knotty pine paneling, leather reclining sofas, mountain decor, and ceiling fans. The fully stocked kitchen includes granite countertops, full-size appliances, cookware, and a coffee maker. The property is unique with its separate Studio/game room with loads of space and a 3rd bathroom. Enjoy two spacious decks—one with a private hot tub surrounded by pines and aspen trees, and the other with outdoor seating, BBQ grill, and stunning panoramic views.

Upstairs, you'll find the master suite “The Hideaway” with a king bed, vaulted ceilings, and massive picture windows. “Leopard’s Lair” includes a queen bed, futon seating, and its own private balcony. Downstairs, “Caribou Cave” offers a cozy queen bed and attached bath. There’s also a large dining table perfect for group meals or game nights. The Studio/game room has a sofa bed with a bathroom.

A highlight of this home is the separate Studio/game room above the garage, complete with a pool table, ping pong, and plenty of space to hang out. Additional amenities include color-changing lights in the hot tub, multiple Smart TVs, a washer/dryer, reliable WiFi, and central heat for winter. In warmer weather, cool breezes flow through open windows with ceiling and room fans provided as well (no separate AC system but Birch Bear is on a mountain top with cooling breezes.) Garage access and parking for up to three cars make this the perfect all-season escape in Big Bear.
