Surrounded by natural beauty in every season, this inviting getaway offers the perfect blend of relaxation and recreation. Enjoy scenic walks, championship golf, on-site restaurants, tennis, a fitness center, indoor and outdoor pools, kayaking, and more—all just steps away.

Ideal for couples, small families, or solo travelers, this cozy retreat is perfect whether you’re craving outdoor adventure or peaceful downtime. From crisp mountain mornings to laid-back evenings, you’ll love the balance of nature, comfort, and resort-style amenities that make this a memorable escape any time of year.

This unit is a large studio apartment featuring a king size bed and a convertible sofa for additional guests. The bathroom is newly updated to feature a walk-in, ceramic tile shower. This is also one of the few Apple Villa units to feature a washer/dryer in the unit. There is a smart TV the fireplace connected to our blazing fast, 5G internet service. The kitchen features granite countertops, an apartment sized, four burner range with oven, a dishwasher, a full sized fridge, and ample counter and storage space for a long term stay. We provide all you need for making meals in the unit, including pots and pans, dishware and baking pans.

This studio features a full kitchen with granite countertops and updated appliances, an in-suite washer/dryer combo and a walk-in shower! The unit also features a cozy electric fireplace to warm up cool mountain nights. Enjoy the spacious patio overlooking the lovely woods, with comfortable sectional seating for causal conversations, reading or relaxing and a bar-height table for relaxed meals/drinks.

We are less than a five minute drive to Rumbling Bald and you have complete access to all it has to offer! Your booking includes 2 guest passes for the resort. If you would like additional passes for anyone over age 12, passes will be $7.50 each for the entire stay.

Lesley was a fantastic host! The condo was well stocked and very clean. The location was perfect for us and having laundry facilities was a big bonus. We were also happy to find that we had access to the major TV networks, etc. which made our downtime much nicer. The beautifully tiled shower was great! I like to walk so having some safe walking options made me very happy. It was also very nice to have dining options right there at the Highlands Reserve and Rumbling Bald. Great place to stay!

Loved Lake Lure

Our host Lesley was great and check in was very smooth. Condo was clean and had everything we needed. Plenty of activities to do like hiking and golf right on the resort. Also has a nice wellness area for working out, swimming and spa. Very close to the lake. Just a great couple days and would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Lake Lure! Even thought the villas are small, they have everything you need for a relaxing get away. Leslie’s villa is beautiful decorated, she was quick to communicate with us and we will definitely be booking with her again.

PERFECT little space for my last minute get away.. Clean & cozy. In a beautiful location with a convenient store right across the street. Super easy checking in and the staff was friendly. Great little condo

The condo is perfect and has everything we were looking for when we visited Lake Lure. The community is beautiful with lots of amenities. The condo is clean and well appointed. Quiet with lots of hot water! Close to everything. Leslie was extremely communicative and helpful.

Lesley’s Place

Lesley’s Place was perfect for our stay. Debating a “one room studio” I almost booked something larger. But it provided everything we needed (except I couldn’t find any potholders and that may have just been me). I do not think I have ever stayed in a VRBO that offered such an abundance of towels! If we find ourselves in Lake Lure again, we will stay here again.

Very lovely place!!!

Oh wow. Lake lure is a must see place. And this studio place had everything we needed. From fully stocked kitchen to spacious bathroom. Bed really comfortable. Back patio was our favorite place. Nicely furnished and so peaceful!!! Everything was great. Lesley was so easy to communicate. We will definitely be returning to this place again. Thank you and keep up the good work!!!

Lovely

We have been staying at Apple Valley Villas for 11+ years and we have stayed in about 9 different units. This one is by far my favorite and mainly because of the kitchen. We cook breakfast and an afternoon meal and having a full-sized refrigerator, a stove, and an oven was great. This unit also has a washer and dryer, as stated in the description which is wonderful when you have wet bathing suits and towels coming from the lake. The unit is well decorated but not overly crowded with Knick knacks. The outdoor patio area is so comfortable and looking out over the wooded area lets you forget you are near a road. Peaceful!
