Nur wenige Schritte von der U-Bahn, den Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants in der Barracks Row, dem Nationals Stadium und dem Capitol entfernt ist diese Lage unschlagbar! This was the perfect home base for our family of six while we explored DC. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the historic character—it made our stay feel even more special. The host was easy to communicate with and always responded quickly. The neighborhood felt safe, and we were able to walk to the Capitol and many of the other sights. We'd definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Washington, DC.

The location was fantastic. Easy to get to the Metro, walk to the capital, or get some of the best espresso in the country. The owner was extremely responsive and easy to work with. He was able to share some excellent places to go and times of day to see things. The house has a history of its own and was really easy for all six of us to sleep.

The home was beautiful in and out, a real historic beauty. It sits on a cute street in the beautiful Capitol Hill neighborhood. Trader Joes and restaurants are just a couple of blocks away. The parking is streetside, but spots are relatively easy to come by. We walked to the Mall with no issues - it wasn't just around the corner, but easily walkable. Nat, the host, was quick to respond to my questions and was helpful when I goofed up the access steps. The steps were simple, I just failed to read the email. And when the day's done, the back porch was a great place to hang out. Tons of greenery and just a nice setting all around. I can't wait to come back to DC and stay in this home again! Seriously!

We had an amazing stay here in DC. The location was absolutely perfect and made it easy to explore the city while still feeling comfortable and relaxed at the house. This place is fantastic! The hosts are amazing! The home is beautiful. The location is great. 10 out of 10 for sure. The house may be over 150 years old, but it does not look it, and it has all the modern conveniences one would expect (and more). The house is oozing with charm and character that you will not find anywhere else. I cannot say enough good things about this place. We had a wonderful stay. The hosts are amazing, super chill, and so very helpful. Probably the nicest hosts I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with. Next time we go to DC we will definitely be staying here again.

We had the loveliest time staying in your home! We were in town for a wedding, and this was the perfect spot for base camp, winding down with family, and enjoying the beautiful DC area. This is beautiful home! Large, comfortable rooms. Kitchen is awesome with lots of high end amenities. Kids loved the basement with the big TV. Perfect location to relax after a day in DC. The walk to the closest metro was .4 miles

PERFECT!!!!

It was truly a delight to stay at this property!!! We stayed there for the week of our daughter's wedding and it could not have been more perfect! The location is fabulous, the house was very homey and wonderful for our family time together, and the hosts were incredibly gracious. The parking permit they provided made our stay extra convenient. The property is beautiful and functional. We utilized the indoor and outdoor space and both were delightful! We will definitely stay here again if the opportunity presents itself!

However, several things impacted our stay: allergy flare-ups due to past cat presence (not disclosed), a leaking air mattress, worn bedding, and only one parking pass for a multi-bedroom rental. Some appliance instructions would also help. With better transparency and small upgrades, this could be a great stay.
