I highly recommend this beautiful, peaceful rental with Kendra and Keith who are extremely knowledgeable of the area and also extremely friendly. We stayed for two weeks and barely had to leave the comfort of this place. Myrtle the turtle was the highlight for our dog. It is situated in a nice area but close enough to shopping, restaurants and attractions. Hoping to return soon.

Horse Thief Ranch Tucson

It is a lovely setting- relaxing and quiet. Keith and Kendra are great hosts. Check in with us to be sure we had everything we needed. Well stay there again!

Super cool property!

We loved all the outdoor spaces surrounding the casitas - our kids really enjoyed feeding Myrtle the tortoise and looking at all of the cool metal art.

Keith and Kendra were very accommodating to meet our needs. They responded quickly when we had a question and offered help in receiving mail. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. It met all of our expectations. Myrtle, the turtle even pranced around for us! Enjoy our Arizona experience.

Great get-away location

Our casita at Horse Thief Ranch was the PERFECT place for my wife and I to hang out, recharge and relax during our four-night stay in Tucson. Super quiet neighborhood with great access to local restaurants and points of interest. We even to to spend some time visiting with other guests at the ranch and enjoy their company. Communications with the owners was fantastic - couldn't ask for anything better. We sincerely hope we can stay at this property on our next Tucson visit.

Sweet place, sweet location

Lovely stay for a couple of nights with my daughter. Everything we needed, plus free use of a couple of cruiser bikes that we used on the path adjacent to the property (just had to fill the tires). We also enjoyed a couple of short jogs through the neighborhood and loved meeting the pair of emus and shaggy sheep a couple of blocks over! The casita bed was super comfy and it was incredibly quiet. Owner was very responsive.

Casita B!

Casita B was a very nice place to spend nearly a week. The bed was awesome...slept like a baby on it. It was nice having a full size fridge we could stock for our stay and an equipped kitchen. No dishwasher but not a problem. The grounds are very nicely kept. Be sure and check out the large turtle they have. There are lots of metal sculptures to look at too. There is a closeby walking/bike trail that follows the river. We will stay here if we find ourselves in Tucson again.

It was clean, just the right size for my wife and I. A full kitchen minus a dishwasher...but mom made sure I knew how to wash dishes. The bed was VERY comfortable. I have trouble sleeping at night and that mattress was perfect. We shopped locally for groceries for our six night stay. The fridge was newer and very clean. The courtyard was very nice. Great place for outdoor coffee in the morning. There is a long pathway along the river behind the property. We plan to come back.

Nice property - great hosts!

This was a great location, close to lots of trails for hiking and to shopping and restaurants. The weather while we were here was quite rainy and cold - rather unusual for Tucson - so we didn't get to enjoy all the amenities the way we anticipated. Kendra was a wonderful hostess, always responding quickly to questions and requests. It was obvious that she wanted everyone to thoroughly enjoy their stay. The casita was clean and well-equipped. We stayed for 2 weeks and there were convenient laundry facilities on the grounds. The only thing missing was a closet and drawer space for clothes - there was a small amount of space to hang clothes. It was a great location for the two of us.

Consider carefully

This casita might be good for a night or two but was uncomfortable for a longer stay. There was no closet and no drawer space. There was no place to put suitcases. The kitchen was limited in that there was only one pan, one pot, and no refrigerator storage containers. The owners were pleasant. We are used to having a dishwasher and there was none.

Dennis, thank you for your review. This casita is a 1-bedroom 1-bathroom property with a full sized kitchen and full sized appliances. There is a 2-chair bistro table and an island bar with 2 full sized barstools for guests to dine. We do not advertise a dishwasher for this property, and this information is made clear to guests prior to booking, however, we apologize if this caught you off guard. There is indeed an open closet with 2 shelves for folded clothing, as well as extra room below for shoes. Additionally, there is extra shelving space in the bathroom, as well as 2 luggage racks to place suitcases. The homeowner just went to the property and has confirmed that there is, in fact, a full set of pots and pans, as well as baking ware. We apologize if you missed these items, as they are located in the cabinets of the kitchen island. As evident by past reviews, this homeowner strives to provide all guests with a 5-star experience. He even went out at 9 pm to buy a specific Keurig piece for you. He aims to ensure all guests are as comfortable as possible, and we look forward to helping him host many more satisfied travelers in the future. Best, the Evolve Team

Covid escape!

Listing was eye catching and after our arrival, proved to be very accurate. Manager met us for our early check-in and gave us a tour of the property. The amenities were really nice! In addition to the hot tub there was a unique lap pool. Overall, the tub was very relaxing even though all the jets were not functional. Our casita was thoroughly furnished in the kitchen utensils aspect. The bed was a memory foam king size & very comfy. The bathroom had a novel setup in that the tub water supply provided a multitude of water delivery, from a soft rainfall shower head to a hand held spray to jets that hit assorted body parts. Oh and the tub had about 8 jets for a stimulating jacuzzi bath! A couple of small glitches with the Internet connection and satellite TV were quickly resolved by the property manager. We are adding this locale to our “return to “ list! Thank you Kendra & Keith for your hospitality!

Quiet location

We stayed in unit B casita. Nicely appointed. Quiet location. Unit B is quite small and a bit dark but it was very comfortable, and our dog was welcome! We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place.
