Thanks for taking the time to leave a review! Wish we could control the pool area and the rules that they enforce but we don't have a say. Unfortunately, the rules you mention are quite common at most condo complexes here on Maui as they have to also keep full time residents in mind and not just vacationers. This is different from resorts but also much more affordable. Seems you found the best solution for your group by just heading to the beach. The beaches are what makes Maui magical.

I know the enjoyment of all guests is the goal but I agree that sometimes the enforcement at all condos on Maui can be a bit more than necessary. If you could email me separately and share your experiences, I will relay the concern to the property manager and see if they can lighten up a bit.

We also truly appreciate your feedback regarding the pool experience. The pool area is managed by the on-site HOA, and while their intention is to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for all guests, we understand that the recent enforcement may have felt a bit restrictive—especially for families with kids looking to relax and have fun. We’ve heard similar feedback recently and are actively communicating this with the property management team to better balance safety with a more welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. We still believe this is a wonderful home base for a Maui getaway, with plenty of space to unwind and nearby beaches and activities that are perfect for kids to enjoy more freely.
