Loved that Mira Vista is a small, quiet complex. The ocean view was perfect. No washer/dryer in this unit but does have an onsight laundry room that requires U.S. quarters. There was s a unit that sells them at if needed. Unless I missed something there is no real hottub. The pool was not very crowded and water temp. for this Seattlite was great. Thank you fir sharing your condo with us.

Hello Sylvie, Unfortunately the tiny ants seem to come and go on their own whim. That is why I have a pet control company every three months. You didn't want them to come while you were there, so we respected your wishes. There are always bugs in desert and tropical places. Some of them like the geckos perform a service by eating the ones that annoy us. I sincerely hope that the amazing oceanside view and the amiable owners and other guests made a good experience for you.

We had a really lovely stay at this one-bedroom condo at Mira Vista. The location is hard to beat, right on a beautiful beach that was never crowded, which made it feel very relaxing. The pool area is also well maintained and a great spot to spend the day. Inside, the condo is well equipped with everything you need, and both the WiFi and TV worked very well, which we appreciated.A couple of things we wish we had known in advance. There isn’t a bathroom at the pool or beach area. It’s a smaller property, so not a huge issue, but something to be aware of if you’re used to larger resorts where that’s standard.The bigger one for us was laundry. There is no washer in the unit. Instead, there is a coin-operated laundry room in another building, and the machines require U.S. coins. We weren’t aware of this ahead of time, and it was surprisingly difficult to find a way to get the right coins locally. It would have been easy to plan for if we had known in advance.That said, the property manager was very responsive and helpful on check-in, which made a difference.Overall, a great spot if you’re looking for a quieter beachfront stay. Just worth coming prepared for a couple of the practical details.

Loved the view and gorgeous property gardens. Condo is nice, but a little dated. Had a couple issues during our stay - - no water one afternoon, tv was a major challenge, and had strong sewer odor one morning for several hours. But overall, had a very nice stay. Thx, . the Nelsons

Condo on the Beach

If on the beach is what you want , this is the place for you . The view from the deck is truly amazing . We spent many an evening just watching the waves role in with the magnificent sunsets as a backdrop. As you leave this gated complex you step directly onto the beach . No road or sidewalk or other Condos to pass , just step onto the sand . We will definitely stay here again .

Beautiful View

Love the property and condo’s proximity to their pool and beach. Condo perfectly furnished and equipped. Nice small pool and new comfortable and stylish patio furniture. Several good restaurants within 15 minutes of beach walking. Groceries are 2 km away. Condo has the most amazing view. Quiet. Good value for a waterfront condo.

Love Condo 26

Had an amazing week in Condo 26! The view is amazing. This morning, right before leaving for the airport, we saw a group of people gathered on the beach. Lo and behold, baby turtles were hatching and scrambling toward the water. Also saw whales from the balcony during one Happy Hour! The condo is comfortable and we’ll-equipped and we’d definitely stay here again.

Beautiful view and location on the beach. A lovely quiet location with plenty of room at the pool each day. The condo was well equipped and check in and out was easy. It is not an ideal location if you want to walk to most locations but it’s easy to bus or taxi.. My partners only con was the bed, he found it too soft to sleep on, it was comfortable to me but I am much lighter. I would definitely recommend staying at this property.

We loved staying in this condo! It was clean, easy to get to, great sunrises every morning. Air conditioner in the living room and bedroom. So comfortable. Very impressed!

This is my favorite place I’ve stayed so far in this area of San Jose. Exactly like the photos and descriptions too. You cannot beat the location. Beach front is no joke! I have stayed in this area many times but this was my first time at Mira Vista. The staff was beyond accommodating in every way, especially on the Christmas holiday (ran out of toilet paper). The cleaning staff and welcoming service from chef Gloria (I think I remembered name correctly) were awesome and exceeded expectations as well.

A hidden gem

We've stayed in this area before and really enjoy the beach and proximity to San José. These condos at Mira Vista almost get lost among the larger resorts of the Costa Azul beach, which is what makes it so appealing. With the limited number of units in this little complex, it makes for a perfect, quiet little paradise. We had all the amenities we needed, and were able to really make it like a home away from home. One of my favourite features was the beautiful variety of plants, flowers, and trees throughout the walking paths and pool area of the complex; none of the other properties we saw on our beach walks had anything like it. Definitely one of those features you don't know to appreciate until you have it.

Relax and enjoy the view!

This was one of the most relaxing, enjoyable trips I have ever taken. The owner, Pat, was wonderful to work with, and answered any questions or concerns promptly. The condo was clean, well-stocked (other than swimming towels, which was taken care of) and had the most amazing view of the beach right from the patio. Mira Vista condos are well maintained with beautiful landscaping and a nice sized, clean pool. It was also reassuring to have a security guard on the property at night, although I never felt unsafe, as it is a locked complex. The location is very convenient to walk to many restaurants, and there is a bus stop just a few feet away to take you close enough to downtown to easily walk the rest of the way. We enjoyed eating at Mama Mia's, Sardina Cantina, Zippers, La Salsa, and the little restaurant at the hotel next door, all within walking distance. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway at the beach, this is the place!

Thank you for taking the time to let me know that you were happy and relaxed and for future renters to know some of the positive points of Mira Vista. The view from the living room and terrace is definitely at the top of the list. Also good to know that you were able to walk to at least 5 restaurants. And having the bus stop right in front of the complex is great for the guests who don't have a rental car. Nice to know that your little get away at the first of the year left you recharged.

The location of Mira Vista and this unit is outstanding. You are footsteps to an amazing uncrowded, safe beach that takes your breath away. The complex is well maintained and the owners and other renters seem very friendly and welcoming. Restaurants can be found at both ends of the beach just short walking distances, and grocery stores are just down the highway and easily accessible. This unit however is tired and is in need of some TLC.. it comes equipped with a good supply of basic items, cookware, glassware, dishes and utensils etc.. but other items that you rely on like toilet paper, garbage bags, paper towel, dishwashing soap etc.. were lacking, and you may want to plan ahead for that. There is no washer or dryer in the unit but the complex does have a shared laundry room if needed. There is a sewage odor at times, around the complex that comes and goes but not a huge deal. The host and management company are friendly and communication was quick and easy.

Love it so much I bought the one next door

This is a hidden jewel right on the wide beach. Nice pool. The owner is a delight. Clean and with Uber easy to get to everything.

We had a great time at this property! It was fully equipped in the kitchen which was great. We only had to buy a few spices. The only thing that I would suggest is that when the quests are leaving that they leave water for the incoming guests. We arrived in the early evening and unfortunately we had no water to drink and this was a problem because they suggest you don’t drink the water at the condo. We had to find our way in the dark to find bottled water to drink and we were walking. So out of kindness please leave water! Thank you Patricia for sharing your property.

Mira Vista #26 is a gem

This condo was perfect for us. Nestled amongst larger hotels and condos, it's right on Playa Azul beach but just a short drive to the Mega shopping mall with the La Comer grocery store. If you don't want to drive anywhere, Zippers bar and grill is a short walk down the beach from here. Parking is included. It's light, airy, clean and well-maintained. The complex is small and quiet with a mix of vacationing renters, owners, and unoccupied units. People at the pool were friendly. Maintenance staff are always around and the property manager for this unit was available via phone if we ever needed anything. The owner was very helpful with my questions before we came down as well. I appreciated the meet-and-greet check in process at the gate. We had stayed at another condo for a few days before coming here and that one had a self check in process which didn't feel as welcoming. It was also not on the beach and not as clean as this one. so the contrast was huge If you're looking for a nice play to stay I highly recommend #26.

Great place

Good location. It was wonderful hearing the ocean. The condo was very well equipped.
