Very nice house, nicely decorated and clean. The children really enjoyed being on the canal, fishing, paddle boarding and kayaking. Plenty of room for our boat on the nice dock. We checked out the pool that was a drive down to Key Colony Beach area but did miss having our own pool at the house for our convenience. Our host was always available and helpful with any questions.

Kitchen was well-equipped. Views were spectacular and the peaceful setting was everything we needed and hoped for! Would definitely consider this place for a future stay. My kids' favorite feature was the nearby Cabana Club!

The home was very clean, with pretty much everything we needed. I chose this property based on the size, location, and the included dock. We spent most of the time on the water fishing, so it was a great location for that.A couple of the supplies stated they provide ran out quickly. We had 7 people staying, so had there been less we may not have had that problem. The only reason it was a hiccup is because it was not easy to just run to a store at any time to get what you need.My biggest issue was the amount of rules that came with the rental. I felt bombarded with emails of things we could and could not do after I paid and signed the agreement. The listing definitely could have been more descriptive laying out all the rules. Being the person who booked the stay, I felt like all I was doing was saying “no, you can’t do that” on repeat to everyone in our party.Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. We explored the waters fishing and snorkeling, checked out the Cabana Club, and booked a trip to the Turtle Hospital - which was one of the suggested things to do by the host.

We could have easily and happily brought you whatever you needed. We do not have a lot of rules , but the resort does have some rules, which are in place for the safety of the guests and nothing is unreasonable. We traveled for a wedding with a fairly large group of family members. The property was beautiful, clean and well kept. I can’t say enough about Meredith - she responded quickly to any questions and even helped us out when our flights were cancelled due to the snowstorm in NY! Will definitely be going back again. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our weekday stay! Please note the Cabana Club pool is 10 - 15 minutes away from the property, it’s not in Hawk’s Cay. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay. We ended up using the cabana pool everyday on our trip.

For your reference, I have copied and pasted the first paragraph in our listing where it clearly states the Cabana Club is in Key Colony Beach, a 15 minute/9 miles: ENJOY THE POOL AND BEACH AT THE OCEAN FRONT CABANA CLUB, just a 15 min drive to Key Colony Beach. The Cabana Club has an olympic size pool, Tiki Bar and restaurant, ocean front sandy beach! Lots of fun for kids and adults! NO EXTRA FEE! Included with the rental! 9 miles from Duck Key. Awesome place on the canal. Great view, clean, and just about everything we needed was there. Other than needing a water hose down by the dock for washing the boat at the end of the day. Overall, couldn’t be happier with this place. Definitely would stay here again.

Duck Key was a great key to stay on. Close enough to Marathon and Islamorada for day excursions!
