Beautiful villa situated in the hills above Estepona. The views were stunning, all the facilities were as described and the house manager, Sandra, was extremely helpful. The bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms were all very well appointed and the whole villa and grounds were very clean and tidy. We had a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing family holiday.

In our honest opinion, some updates are required however this did not affect our enjoyment of what was a beautiful homely villa that made us feel safe, secure and warm. We did experience a major problem during our stay, which was dealt with by the owner and the onsite manager to the highest standard and within a timeline that was impossible to improve on. Reg and Sandra couldn't have been better hosts and would recommend the villa to anyone.

Spacious, well appointed Villa

The villa is superbly run by the owner, with very meticulous instructions and helpful advice on local amenities, restaurants etc. It has glorious views over open country and offers well laid out, generously proportioned accommodation. If you are a golf enthusiast you will be in your element!

We had an incredible stay at this villa and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. The location is absolutely stunning, with beautiful views that we never got tired of. It was the perfect place to relax after busy days exploring the area.We were a group of four adults and two 13-year-olds, and there was more than enough space for everyone to spread out and enjoy themselves. The air conditioning in every bedroom was a huge bonus during the warm weather, and the pool and backyard were where we spent most of our time. The outdoor setup made it easy for everyone to relax together while still having plenty of space.We definitely recommend renting a car. Within about a 30-minute drive, we were able to reach beautiful beaches, great restaurants, grocery stores, shopping, and countless scenic viewpoints, making it an ideal home base for exploring the Costa del Sol.Reg and Sandra were wonderful hosts. Communication was excellent before and throughout our stay, and they were always quick to respond to any questions, making everything easy and stress-free.We also felt extremely safe. The gated community, security staff, and cameras throughout the neighbourhood gave us complete peace of mind.This villa exceeded our expectations, and we'd happily stay here again.

Great Holiday!

From start to finish, communication with the property owner and manager was excellent - all queries were answered promptly which was very reassuring. The villa is in a great and safe location and very clean with cleaning carried out during our stay (which was greatly appreciated). A pleasant surprise was finding food basics and wine upon our arrival which was very welcome. There was plenty of fridge space and the kitchen was well equipped. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable and overall we had a lovely and very memorable stay.

We stayed 9-23rd August in this amazing house. The owner was so good to us and the handover agent Sharon was amazing as there is a lot to this wonderful home. The area it is in is stunning. You do need a car as it is a distance from amenities, however, Taxi and Uber services are plentiful. The house is very comfortable and there were things like washing powder, dishwasher tablets, condiments and so much more there. You were asked to replace anything that ran out but great to have this. The pool is clean, well maintained, stunning and at that time of the year the perfect temperature. Simply our best rental yet.

Great potential

Should have been beautiful but now looking a bit sad . Broken and damaged equipment and furnishings require replacing . With a little TLC would be fabulous again . Beautiful secluded area close to amenities .

At no point during this guest's stay did they report that any equipment or furnishings were sad, damaged or needed replacing! I am reviewing with my manageress this feedback to get to the bottom of these comments and will resolve any issues that we identify.

Excellent choice for a family holiday

This property was perfect for our recent family holiday - 7 adults and 3 children. The villa is huge with plenty of room to relax inside and outside and allow everyone to have a little space if they needed it. The house was in great condition, very well looked after and fully stocked with everything you'd need. The kitchen has everything you need to cater for a big group, which is ideal if you're eating in. Having 2 fridges in the kitchen really helps with a large group too. The lounge area was lovely, very relaxing and room for the whole family to sit down. Having the UK satellite channels was a godsend for the children too! Bedrooms all had ensuites and we were offered flexible set up of the beds with twins vs doubles in all rooms. The outside space was perfect - plenty of shade during the hottest part of the day in the patio area and under the huge parasol - and plenty of space to run around and play games outside too. In the pool storage room we found a great variety of toys and games - loads of ping pong balls and bats too, for the table. Pool was great and a good size for our group. As others have said, the drive is pretty steep and you do have to be careful with the timings of driving up/down and the gate automatically closing. We had 2 cars and there is just enough room to drive down and manoeuver around, to avoid reversing down if needed. The views are absolutely incredible from the house, and there's a little seating platform just down from the pool area which was a lovely surprise to find. The house is about a 15-minute drive to the main road through the mountains, but fairly easy to navigate once you've done it once. We visited Benahavis (20-minute drive) for dinner a couple of times and there are plenty of restaurants there (although not all are open on a Sunday). Communication with the owner was excellent and prompt from the point of booking, through to the trip. The information he provided about the house and the local area was very thorough and very helpful. We had a wonderful stay at this house and wouldn't hesitate to recommend!

Fantastic stay in luxury villa

It's in a beautiful situation, luxuriously appointed, but close enough to the excitement of Marbella or the tranquility of the white villages to suit all tatses. It was beautifully warm during our visit in October, so much so that the pool was in constant use. Kitchen big enough to cater for the 10 the villa sleeps, but plenty of resaurant choice within a short drive. Close enough to Malaga airport to be there for lunch without getting the first morning plane out of the UK!

Great villa in Andalusia!

Our group of 9 enjoyed a family reunion at the villa. We all had a great time... the kids spent hours in the pool which was comfortably warm. The adults enjoyed lounging under the sun umbrellas or on the covered patio. And the inside was spacious and well equipped. The location was nicely central to many activities - 15 minutes to restaurants and canyoning in Benahavis; 20 minutes to the beach and village of Estapona; and 60 to 90 minutes for excursions to Ronda, Caminito del Ray, Tarifa and Bolonia Beach. Reg, the villa owner was always responsive and provided lots of useful local and villa information. We’d highly recommend a stay here for a trip to Andalusia.

Spectacular Views, 5 Star Villa. Perfect Getaway!

We were looking for a Villa that was spacious, could accommodate 10 people, was private and with good access to Marbella. This met our requirements perfectly. The property manager, Sandra, was always available when needed and actioned any requests promptly and efficiently. WiFi was excellent. The village of Benahavis is just a short drive away with an excellent selection of restaurants and we'd recommend you book during high season. The pools area is tranquil and a great place to relax and the villa is the perfect place to dine and with the views (created as a consequence of the picturesque steep and winding drive through the hills and community) as good as any you'll find at any restaurant, so staying in is just like going out but with benefits. The driveway has electric gates and is steep. We found that if you have 3 or more cars you are better to reverse down the driveway. It's no hassle and it makes leaving far easier. We couldn't fault the place and would recommend it to anyone looking for a private getaway with friends and family.

Wonderful airy villa with spectacular views

We spent a few days in this glorious villa on a mountain side with views to die for. The villa is a lovely open plan space, which feels cool and airy in the Spanish sun. The kitchen was well-stocked with plenty of fridge space to keep everything cool, and the bedrooms are large and lovely with soft bamboo flooring under foot. The highlight of the villa for the children was the pool, which afforded hours of entertainment, while we soaked in the sun. We found the villa to be very kiddy-friendly, for our two aged 6 and 8. And there was no shortage of walks, Roman ruins and beautiful Spanish villages to visit. The owner could not have been more charming or considerate about our stay. All in all, I thoroughly recommend this holiday spot.

Wonderful villa in a stunning location

We had a perfectly relaxing holiday in this sumptuous, well-appointed villa. Apart from the magnificent views to the mountains and the sea, the location is just far enough from the hustle and bustle of the coast yet very accessible to Benahavis, Estepona, Puerto Banus & Marbella by car. Very comfortable bedrooms with luxury en-suites and AC. Huge open plan living space leading to large private outdoor area with superb pool. Reg was extremely helpful during the planning stages, providing lots of valuable details about the villa and surrounding area. We would highly recommend this villa.

Outstanding villa. Spacious with views to die for

We had a really great time. We were out with 8 people, six of whom were in their early 20s. We all loved the villa. The fantastic views, the space (it comfortably sleeps ten) , the pool, the high ceilings and big windows. We had worried about the building work taking place nearby but this caused no inconvenience as the project is well advanced. We had also worried about the remoteness of Monte Mayor. Once we got use to the drive we actually appreciated being away from everything and even began to think about the benefits of buying or building a villa on or near Monte Mayor. The villa is close to Benehavis, Club Marbella (the nicest golf course I've ever played on) and about 20-25 mins from Puerto Banus. Marbella is a little further. This villa is really as as good as it looks on the website. Spread over ten people the price is not too bad. Don't hesitate book it now.

Breathtaking!

This home is stunning. From the moment you walk in the door all you see is a perfect retreat. Beautifully decorated and spacious, all complemented by a pool and view that make you feel like you are in a secluded paradise. Everything was perfect, starting with a warm welcome and including a detailed description of where to find everything that was provided and the extensive list of places to eat, places to visit, and things to do. We were only able to sample a few of the nearby recommended restaurants, but all were outstanding. Mostly we ate at home preparing food in the wonderful kitchen and eating outside on the deck. Benahavis is truly Heaven on Earth. Our family group of seven universally recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful and peaceful retreat away from the crowded beach fronts, but still close enough to enjoy all sea has to offer.

It was a wonderful holiday all the family had a great time. There was 8 adults 2 kids and a baby you never once felt that you were on top of each other. A very spacious luxury villa.

Stunning location - house spacious/comfortable

Stunning location with views to the sea and mountains. Very peaceful with easy access to the hills behind the estate. The house is very spacious but also comfortable and well-equipped with an impressive entrance hall. Well shaded balconies and terraces, all with great views. Listing was very accurate, the property well maintained and the property manager was extremely efficient and helpful. Thoroughly recommended.

Heaven on earth

A fantastic villa! Really well equipped, lovely pool and sunbathing etc.. area, with the most marvellous view of Gibraltar and N Africa in the distance. Luxurious is barely strong enough to describe how the villa is set up and presented. Comfy beds. All rooms have the view and ours even had a view from the shower! Really good spot for nearby golf and/or exploring the bright lights or beach bars on the coast or Benahavis and up in the mountains to Ronda etc.. ear at La Torre in Benahavis - good value local food. The owner is a real gent and was really helpful. Recommend highly!

Fantastic Villa With Great View

This is a lovely villa with everything you need to enjoy a relaxing holiday. We were given very detailed instructions from the owner which was a great help and the person meeting us on our arrival explained everything we needed to know. The villa was very clean and very comfortable with a lovely view towards the coast. There were several golf courses close by and there were lots of restaurants in the nearby town of Benahavis. We all had a fantastic relaxing holiday - thank you Reg!

We loved this heavenly hideaway!

The villa is wonderful: gorgeous bedrooms and bathrooms, spacious living area and a well-equipped kitchen. If the inside is wonderful, then the outside is even better: fantastic views, plenty of space, comfortable loungers, a perfect pool and sun, sun, sun. We ate outside every evening, thanks to the excellent grill. Apart from our visits to the supermarket, we barely left the property. A great week.
