We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. While driving the Amalfi Coast roads are an adventure in itself, it makes for some spectacular views. The sea platform was like having our own very large private Mediterranean pool. We appreciated the welcome pack with coffee and milk and Mario was responsive to any questions we had. The bedrooms were spacious and quiet. All have their own view.

A wonderful stay! Signore Mario is the best. He helped tremendously with travel and restaurant recommendations. The property was clean and well taken care of. The platform on the water was the best part of vacation. I would definitely return.

Beautiful property with priceless views of the sea. Each room had a nice view. The ac worked great and the host was so helpful, even grocery shopping for us! The advertisement for the property listed 2 bathrooms but actually there are 3. That was an important detail for me so I thought I’d share in this review. There was an amazing bistro just down the road to the left of our place and a beautiful beach (Minori) just down the road to the right of our place. We walked everywhere and although it felt a bit harrowing at times, we felt completely safe. Overall, everything about our stay and location was fantastic and we’d happily stay again.

Marco, who met us at the property for check in was great. It was fun to see him around town. They also had a great recommendation for a boat trip from Amalfi Charters.

Can’t say enough good things about this property. It’s spacious, very clean, well appointed, very nice outdoor space for al fresco dining and also lazing around underneath the bougainvillea. Very lovely. And then of course, the views are stunning. Amalfi Dreams was great. Mario was beyond the best in helping with anything and everything. Know that the property is right in the road so just have to practice caution when you walk out but that’s easy to deal with. Loved it!

great property, the views are unbeatable, with lemon trees on the property and beautiful outdoor spaces.It's less than 10 minutes' walk to the town, but it is on a very busy road. That said, this is the Amalfi coast, so every town is like this. Extremely clean property, everything you need was provided. Internet was iffy, but it was ok if you sit close to the router. But hopefully you are out and about enjoying the surroundings and not online :)

Perfect stay

A beautiful property: each bedroom is self-contained so it is excellent for friends. Walking down through picturesque Amalfi foliage to a swimming platform and diving into the Mediterranean is beyond compare.

Gorgeous view, gardens, and sea platform. Immaculate condition. Mario from Amalfi Dreams was most accommodating. Private parking immediately adjacent to the house but the roads are not for the faint of heart.

absolutely breathtaking views, beautiful home, very clean and well equipped! walking distance to minori markets and shops. parking right at the house. This is our second time renting this home because it is so beautiful. we were surprised to see a new renovated kitchen!! but you cannot match the incredible views from every room ! Mario is a joy to work with and was very attentive!!

Great stay on the coast

The property, rooms, and location were all fantastic. Super nice place which looked even better than the photos. The swim platform was a nice extra touch. Mr Mario took care of us and was very helpful. The only thing to consider is the walk to Minori is on a very tight road. Most drivers are cautious but it can seem dangerous.

Best Time Ever!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Il Monaco in April 2024. The house is just as pictured, the views were stunning, and three couples each had privacy from each of the three bedrooms. Mr. Mario and his connections were very helpful during our stay. We enjoyed the small town of Minori and all it had to offer and it was just a short walk away from the villa. We’d love to visit again!!

Best week ever. Il Monaco was perfect for us. The few times we had special requests, Mario was always there to respond immediately! Our favorite part of the Villa was the back patio & gardens down to the swimming platform on the Mediterranean!! I think it was the best platform in all of Minori!

Wonderful stay, the property was everything we hoped it would be - and more. The views from the terraces were incredible and the semi-private swim platform was amazing. Mario was so helpful in arranging things for us and it was great to see him out and about around town in Minori. Our driver Carlo took us to Pompei and we had a great day trip. The folks at the butcher shop and the fruit and vegetable shop in Minori were so friendly and welcoming. We also highly recommend both restaurants at the Hotel Marmorata which is just a 3 minute walk up the road - especially the lower level terrace restaurant and our wonderful server, Ivan.

Mario was the best host ever!!

First start by saying the Host Mario went above and beyond making our stay amazing! He gave great advice and helped us maneuver around the area with ease. The house itself is stunning and the views are breathtaking. It is located 5 minutes from town. We enjoyed our stay here very much and would recommend it to everyone!

Amalfi Dream

We stayed at this property for a month. It was the most relaxing vacation we have ever enjoyed. The outdoor area and swimming dock were incredible. We loved the local town and never tired of the endless restaurant opportunities or local market options. Mario was a wealth of local knowledge and helped us put together local adventures which exceeded our expectations every time. We appreciated Mario beyond measure.

Mr Mario could not have been better at meeting us a nd assisting with transportation and any needs. Our Villa met every expectation and then some. Very large, clean, good location and incredible views of mountains and coastline. We have already recommended this property to another friend.
