1st thing to know, this place can't sleep 6 unless the broken sofa/futon is replaced. The current one is too small to fit 2 people. It can barely sleep 1 small adult. Pros: 2 queen beds & linens are comfortable, blackout curtains for good sleeping, kitchen has useful items to actually cook, AC worked well, plenty of hot water.Cons: Broken sofa does not fold flat (party of 3 adults, we each wanted our own sleeping space and 1 poor guy 5'8" could barely fit on it), furniture very limited: coffee table in photo is not there, other small table shown holds internet equipment so can't be used, nowhere to hang coats at entry, no hooks anywhere for used bath towels, the 1 towel bar kept falling down, no bedside table and lamps, no coffee table or side table at couch; no alarm clock to see time at night, no box of kleenex, wifi was not reliable and kept cutting out.The location is very useful but there are hotels in the area for better price. We needed a kitchen to cook because 1 guest has celiac disease. Otherwise a hotel would have been better for us.

The best thing about this rental is its location. It's a block from the Reading Market, a block from City Hall. There is a fantastic Japanese restaurant on the first floor. Close to the subway and regional rail system.The unit, unfortunately, left a few things to be desired. The towels didn't smell great. There was dust under the beds. The shower worked counteractively, so I had to shower with cold water. If you are looking for a perfect location near everything, this is your place. But don't expect a top-of the line vrbo.

Great apartment. Brittany is so efficient and helpful. Apartment was roomy, clean and quiet .I must say residents obey policy about noise. No problem at all. Glad to discovered this website. These apartments are so much better than hotels

Great location, it's a hike up the stairs but the listing was transparent about that so not a problem. The apartment was a bit well-worn, but spotless. The code to enter was a little finicky, requiring at least a couple times of entering it to get in the building but it worked. The only other thing I'd say is bring coffee--its been my experience that usually these places have a Keurig with a handful of pods available but this place had a coffee maker but no coffee. Again, not a problem but be be prepared if you are like me and need an immediate caffeine jolt upon waking. Overall had good communication with the host and it was quiet and clean so no real complaints.

Brittani was absolutely amazing! Very quick communication and you couldn’t ask for a more informative/communicative host! We enjoyed our stay! Cons: This property entrance is located in an alley that isn’t very welcoming (dumpsters of overflowing trash and faces a parking garage) The location is awesome being in Center City but the property itself has zero curb appeal….however being able to walk places and feel safe was more important to us than what the property looked like on the outside. Brittani was so great to work with that the cons didn’t feel that major to us

The apartment was perfect for our group size (4 adults 1 kid). The AC in the building was excellent and very much appreciated (visited Philly in 100 heat wave). The host was great at communicating. We struggled with the wifi and never got connected, but the host was very responsive. We were so busy the kids just made due with the TV service and cellphones. The beds were comfortable, nice linens. Could have used a few more hand towels and wash clothes. The bathroom lacked any way to hang the towels, all the hooks were broken. The kitchen had nice appliances. We didn't try cooking so I can't say if it was fully fitted. It was perfect for the breakfast and snacks that we did enjoy. The coffee maker even had a reusable mesh filter so no paper filters needed. There were plenty of dishes and silverwear. Traders Joe's was a short walk and Reading Terminal Market was at the end of the block. Short walk to the underground train. Great location for all our plans.
