Same day booking check in is 4pm or two (2) hours after booking, whichever is later.

First floor -- living room with high ceilings eat-in kitchen and French doors to a small private patio.

Second floor - Two bedrooms are separated by a super small study with two separate doors to each of the bedrooms. One bedroom has access to this study.

Third Floor -- Two bedrooms one on each end of the hall. The front bedroom has two doors, one to the hall, one to the bathroom. The bathroom on this floor is in the middle of the floor with two doors, one to the front bathroom and one to the hall accessible for the back bedroom.

The house has central air and hardwood floors throughout.

We fell in love with this bright and airy corner town home's high ceilings, original details, and amazing desirable location.

We've aimed to furnish the entire house for a comfortable stay while maintaining this historical house's charm and details.

The beds are made with freshly laundered sheets, towels, and of course, cleaned for your stay.

We purchased this home after enjoying hosting a smaller house nearby that is my parents' primary home when they are in the United States. We hope you will enjoy your stay in this new house during your visit to Philadelphia. Please note we do not allow for local guests. Please let me know the reason for your visit.

Cozy condo in the city

We had a great stay! We were taking a long road trip and needed a place to stay for one night along the way. Condo was perfect. Very cozy decor, plenty of space for my family of 4 to spread out. Near great restaurants within a very short walk. Parking next door. Had all the amenities. Owners super responsive and made sure we were all set for the stay. Even double checked to make sure we parked in a legit lot. Only downside is beds were super firm but I think that is a personal preference. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Weekend Stay

Overall a good choice and would stay again. Great location in Rittenhouse Square area. House is old but has been partially updated. Could have been cleaner as baseboards and top of fridge were quite dirty. Kitchen was sufficiently stocked with coffee machines, dishes, pots, pans, silverware. Floors and stairs are creaky, old, and appear dirty. Beds were.hard as other reviewers noted, but adequate. Really the location is the driving reason to stay here. Heck in/out was easy.

Great neighborhood

This is a cozy and charming house in a great neighborhood and easily walkable to the convention center and nearby restaurants. The beds were overly firm for most of us, but we all slept fine. Bathrooms are tiny and have no vanity space, so make sure that you have portability for your toiletries.

Quick Trip to Philly

Our family decided to take a quick stop in Philly on our way to our final destination in New Jersey. This was the perfect spot. We were halfway between the historical Liberty bell and independence hall and the Franklin Museum and Rocky steps. The place was so clean and so cute and Sophie was so easy to reach and quick to respond to our questions. Would definitely stay here again.

Quick overnight stay

We enjoyed our short stay very much. Super location. Walked to Love Park, City Hall, McGillin’s, Rittenhouse Square. Lots of restaurants and taverns in the area. Comfortable home with so much charm. 2 parking garages on the block, 25 overnight which is good for the area.

Just no on site parking but there is a parking garage 25/day literally steps away! This house is three stories tall and perfect!

Cozy oasis

What a wonderful, cozy house! I felt right at home and the host was so thoughtful in providing the little things that one tends to forget whilst traveling. The home was clean and unique with original or retro touches throughout. It was a cozy oasis after dealing with stress day.Definitely recommend and would stay again!

Great historic home

My family of five (mom, dad, and three girls ages 17, 20, and 23) stayed here for three nights. We wanted to spend some time exploring Philadelphia, and this was a great home base for it. There are two overnight parking lots/garages on the block (no in/out though, so plan to find other transportation around the city) which was very convenient. We used public transportation some, walked some, and Ubered some. The house was very well-appointed; it had pretty much anything you might need during your stay. We loved having four bedrooms - what a treat for each of the girls to have their own room while traveling! We decided that must have been why everyone was in such a good mood while we were there. The mattresses are quite firm, which some of our family members liked more than others. There are also two steep staircases to get the the second and third floors (two bedrooms on each floor) so if you have mobility issues, that could be a problem. Sophie, the owner, was very responsive and helpful with advice for how to get around the city and where to park. I would definitely recommend this home to a family or group of four or five people (there is room for eight to sleep in the four rooms but only five seats in the living area and only five could likely sit comfortably at the adorable built in kitchen booth). It was a great visit to Philly!

Disappointing interior

A disappointing stay due to the conditions. Not cleaned sufficiently from prior use. Dirty bathroom, kitchen area and floors. Interior door lock was often stuck and difficult to open. Insufficient lighting requiring us to bring lamps from the bedrooms. All beds were overly firm. Don’t understand why other reviews could be so positive. Easy to communicate with owner. Great location.

Nice place to be in a nice part of Philadelphia

All four beds were comfortable. Plenty of blankets, towels, and pillows. Place was stocked with coffee and tea. Great place to stay to visit Philly. Small couch and TV, not really great to hang out but that was fine with us. Kitchen and bathrooms were adequate.

Fun time in Philly !

Affordable stay in downtown Philly for our family of 5. The home is unique with character. I would recommend adding more furniture to the living room space as we were not able to relax in the evening as a family comfortably. Thank you for hosting us.

Perfect spot to explore philadelphia

If you’re looking for a place close to restaurants, museums, bars, etc, but tucked away enough for a good night’s sleep, look no further! Plenty of space, ample beds and bathrooms, and a huge kitchen. All at a great price.

Great location

I loved the location of the property. There are so many places to eat and coffee shops to go to. The house will accommodate so many people. The beds were comfy and they sheets smelled really good. Communication with the host was great. Responses were very quick. There are plenty of books in the bookshelves - my favorite nook of the house. There was coffee and chocolate and plenty of teas supplied. There's plenty of spices if you wanted to cook. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. There are 2 parking garages a few houses down and they are really cheap during the week.

Great for families with older kids

This home is very large and has lots of room for everyone to have their own space. There are four levels, as I remember: the basement, the ground floor, the second floor and the third floor. I liked the laundry area a lot. On the first floor, there were some brochures of things to do in the city that were very helpful for tourists to read, and that was very informative for us as guests. Sophie is a very responsive host. I regret that my husband for some reason got locked out of his Vrbo account . Plus, everything that I forwarded to him from Vrbo, to help him out, he couldn’t receive or open. A computer problem, maybe? So our check-in and check-out went very chaotically because he didn’t have the information, and I was busy with our many kids. But our stay at the house was a very good one.
