Umgeben von Natur und ein idealer Rückzugsort für Familien und Freunde, befindet sich dieses Haus im absoluten Herzen des Pocono-Gebirges. Dieses geräumige Haus bietet Platz für 20 Personen, verfügt über zwei Küchen / Essbereiche, ein Spielzimmer, eine Terrasse, eine Feuerstelle und einen Whirlpool und ist ideal für große Gruppen. 12 min zu Fuß zum Gemeinschaftssee.

Suchen Sie nicht weiter! Unser schönes Ferienhaus wird Ihre Erwartungen übertreffen! Keyless-Eintrag! Unser Haus verfügt über sieben Schlafzimmer (drei im ersten Stock und vier im zweiten Stock), zwei Küchen, zwei Kamine, zwei Fernseher (42 Zoll), Sony Stereoanlage, Apple TV, Netflix, Brettspiele, ein Gasgrill, eine Feuerstelle , ein Whirlpool, ein Spielzimmer mit Billardtisch, Tischtennisplatte und Darts. Wir bieten auch einen Hochstuhl (dauert 5 Minuten zu montieren, im Schrank gelagert) und einen Kinderwagen für Familien mit kleinen Kindern.

Der erste Stock hat drei Schlafzimmer und ein Badezimmer. Zwei der Zimmer haben große Betten und eines hat ein Queensize- und ein Etagenbett (dieses Zimmer befindet sich neben dem Spielzimmer). Es gibt auch ein Wohnzimmer und eine kleine Küche in der ersten Etage.

Die zweite Etage verfügt über ein weiteres Wohnzimmer, Küche und vier Schlafzimmer: eines mit Doppelbett, eines mit Kingsize-Bett, eines mit zwei Etagenbetten und eines mit einem Kingsize- und einem Etagenbett.

Das Haus hat eine Terrasse mit dem Propangrill.

So happy you loved the house! Sorry you did not feel the bed was comfortable; we are surprised though since we have been hosting for two years (over 100 groups) and usually get compliments on our beds - and actually bought exactly the same bed for our own bedroom in NYC this year.

Weekend Getaway

My friends and I stayed at this house over a weekend as a nice last getaway before we graduated college. Julia was very helpful in answering any questions we had during our stay. The house was great, there was a lot of room to spread out and many fun activities including a hot tub, pool table, and ping pong. The neighborhood was also very nice, even though it was not very far set back, we felt as if we had our own privacy the entire stay. Overall, our trip was near perfect, and I would definitely recommend this property if not go back again in the future!

Ski trip weekend

I stayed here with family and friends for a ski trip weekend. Love that the house was pet friendly so my nephew could bring his small dog, pool table in the basement, hot tub in the back of the house was great after skiing and the large dining room table was great for games at night. The couch in the basement was good a bit worn out but good enough for a few of us to watch the hockey game while some others were upstairs watching movies on the other tv. Plenty of beds and bed rooms so that all 12 of us could enjoy eachothers company but still have our own space at night. Also it was nice that the wooden deck wrapped around half of the house and could be accessed from a couple of the bedrooms. Blinds in the bunk room were messed up pretty good but could be easily replaced. Overall a nice place in a quiet neighborhood at a reasonable price. We didnt need anything from Julia during our stay but at checkout time i emailed with Julia and she responded very promptly. Would certianly consider staying here again.

Not well maintained

We didn't contact the host to correct any issue because much of what we saw was unfixable and wanted to focus on making the most of our time. For the amount paid per day, we felt this fell far below expectations. Our stay - 12 persons - parents & siblings of my wife & I in mid-July 2021 for almost a week. The pictures are from years ago. Things not right with the home: -All couches are heavily stained - deck was in terrible condition - chunks of wood are missing from the built in benches and the paint looked awful - chipped and falling off the wood - downstairs couch arms are broke. & flop around - shower bars/towel bars not actually connected & falls easily - floor drain not connected to floor. - downstairs bedroom by the game room was as humid as a swamp even w A/c running - it's not really comfortably habitable when raining/humid - the TV and dining room tables are peeled/chipping from what looked like water/liquid damage - there is no "central air" throughout the home. Most rooms have window ac units. 2 downstairs bedrooms by bathroom only had fans - no a/c. - we were there mid July, and the outside was littered w crushed & moldy leaves from last fall. - grille stopped working or not enough gas - looked like there was a recent fire & extinguisher by grille was empty. - the outdoor fire pit areas was torn up. In photos, stones are nearly laid. This is no longer the case. - fire pit lid was crushed & mangled. - outdoor furniture was damp & dirty upon arrival (rained days leading up to our stay). We still made the most and had a good time, but wow... It should've been better.

For the benefit of future guests - this house rarely rents on this platform, usually on another famous platform where we have 40+ reviews and 4.7 star rating. Some guests are just impossible to please. Yes, there are some leaves on the ground - it's Poconos, in the woods. Outside furniture being damp after the rain - not a surprise. Of course floor drain is connected to the floor. We do take care of our home and replace things regularly. Some furniture does have scratches, but it's generally in a very good condition - everything was bought in 2018. It's unreasonable to expect a house that hosts large groups to have brand new furniture with no scratches and 100% stain free - but I stay there myself all the time and it's really barely noticable and we never get such complaints - otherwise it would have been replaced by now. As Andrew said, he never contacted us with any of his concerns - has he done so, half of the issues could be resolved quicly. We have a spare propane tank in the house which Andrew should have asked about.

Downstairs Moldy and Dirty

I booked this place for our group of 18 (15 adults and 3 kids) for our company’s team building event. We managed to have fun in spite of the following: 1. The patio and the seating area outside, including near the hot tub and fire pit areas have not been cleaned;seats with spider webs, & tables and chairs dusty. No one wanted to stay outside. It’s very disappointing because the photos online made the outdoors look inviting . I texted the owner, Julia, to inform and she said: “We actually dry cleaned all the cushions two weeks ago, I was personally there...I’ll tell my housekeeper to check all the furniture items again, one by one. I apologize for that.” But the housekeeper never came if there is one. 2. The door to the bedroom closest to the upstairs living room locked with a 3-year old child inside. The child was too terrified to do anything including turning the lock sideways to unlock, despite many attempts to prod her. I texted Julia who said that the doors don’t lock but they actually did. She said to open the second door leading to the patio but that one was even harder to unlock. One of us was finally able to open the door after about 30 minutes, by this time the child was petrified. This could have been resolved easily if the owner or her representative was nearby to unlock. The owner said she was about to call her housekeeper when I told her we were able to unlock. She should have done that soon after I informed her. I doubt there is a housekeeper but I could be wrong. 3. Three of the bedrooms are downstairs and smell very moldy. Some people started to have allergic reactions and stuffy noses, I believe from the smell/mold. It was very difficult to sleep. One of the rooms was a converted garage and has animal droppings on the floor, it was disgusting. (I took photos of these.) My fiancé and I ended up sleeping there because no one wanted to take it. I managed to get about 4 hours of sleep on the 2 nights we were there but only because of exhaustion. Thank God we booked for only 2 nights, I seriously could not last longer. 4. The place tends to get cold especially downstairs though we tried to increase the heat. It’s possible the house was nice at some point thus perhaps the positive reviews, but the posted photos are not representative of the house’s current condition. I hardly give reviews let alone a negative one but I felt compelled to do so in this case. I would not book this house again.

For the benefit of future guests, please see numerous 5-star reviews here and over 50 of them on another platform. This this the first one star review for us ever and we run 6 properties. When unsupervised child was left alone in the room and locked herself, we were about to call our housekeeper after about 15 minutes but were told that one of the 15 adults thankfully was able to unlock one of two doors. Spider webs - we check for them regularly but in the woods they do sometimes happen. The house getting cold at night - it’s the mountains and we have heat. The house is not new however there is no mold and we get high reviews for cleanliness all the time - “animal droppings” is a big surprise, never heard this complaint before and we never received any pictures of it. This guest unfortunately left us untruthful review out of spite. The house is very cozy and very clean, always. The garage was not converted to a bedroom. It was a former “art room” and it is indeed adjacent to the game room which is clearly described in the listing. Thank you! Julia

We had a great stay. The house had plenty of room to fit us all and the kids loved the pool table and ping pong. It was really spacious and had everything we needed. Relaxing weekend in a cozy house

Stayed at this Julia's house in April with the family. Had a blast. Lots to do around in the area; loved Louis Prime steakhouse. We went to Kalahari with the kids, they had a blast. Definitely enjoyed the hot tub and sitting around the fire pit in the evening. Highly recommended.

Wonderful House Close to Attractions

Our family loved the house. There is enough space to spread out, the additional bonus is the game room and we all enjoyed the hot tub as well. It was 16 of us and the house easily accommodated our group. There is plenty to do in the area, we went hiking, spent some time at the beach, went to Kalahari water park. Definitely coming back next year!

Amazing!

We had a family reunion at this house and it was amazing. We had 17 people and it was definitely enough space for us to spread out. The kids loved the bunk beds! There a lot of amenities - two living rooms, a hot tub, a fire pit, a game room with a pool table and ping-pong table. We had a great time and will come back again in the summer!

Fantastic House for Big Groups

This is a fantastic house for big groups. There are hot tub, grill, pool table, ping pong table - all of which made our stay more fun. Also, at the end of the stay I left something behind. The owner was tremendously helpful. She helped me locate it and mailed it very promptly. Highly recommended!

Can't wait to go back!

Great place and great host! The house had clean bedrooms / bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen with plenty of utensils, plates, glasses, etc. The deck is comfortable and it was perfect to grill and hang out on. There is also plenty of entertainment with a pool table and several board games. Highly recommended!!!

Amazing property

very well run and maintained house. Spacious, cozy and comfortable, it has everything you need for a great escape. I had a fantastic time staying there - comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen and grill. Nice location - peaceful and quiet but close to nice restaurants and a number of activities (waterparks, zipline, horse riding, etc.). Highly recommend.

This cabin has all you need to relax and have a great time with your friends and family. Multiple bedrooms/bathrooms to accommodate a large group. Newly-renovated well-equipped kitchen with a center island has all the modern large appliances: dishwasher, microwave, electric stove/oven, coffee makers and basic spices. Gas grill on the spacious deck. Pool table, hot-tub, entertainment system, board-games are available to entertain large group of friends. It’s minutes from a multitude of shopping and dining choices
