Charming 1-bedroom farmhouse in wonderful Taneytown with AC

This cozy home situated on 11 acres was built in the early 1900's and served as the summer kitchen for the farm house. Recently the building was relocated to serve as the pool house for the property. The interior is a blend of beach & country style, embracing the both the farm and pool vibes.

Surrounded by farmland, you will experience the sights, sounds and smells of the country. The house itself is completely remodeled within the last 2 years. New paint, appliances, and windows. It is a sturdy building but the walls are not plumb, floors are not level, the ceilings are low, and the stairs are steep and narrow. These charming imperfections reflect the building methods of an earlier time.

Feel free to access most of the property with a few exceptions. The pool and fenced in area around the pool are off limits. This area is for our dogs and us. Also, all the out buildings and barns are off limits. There is a reserved parking space close to the home for you.

Property amenities include tennis/pickleball, hiking trail, golf chipping and views of sunrise/set. We also have a mowed walking path around the perimeter of the property for you to enjoy. Gettysburg, Frederick, and Carroll Vista are a short drive away. We hope you'll enjoy your stay at our farmhouse.
