The Condo was clean, comfortable and exactly what I expected. I loved the rocking chairs on the balcony. Our coffee maker was not working so I called and a new one was brought right away. Love the Islander resort, the view is second to none. Always visit McGuires Irish, The Donut Shop and Back Porch Restaurants in Destin. But always stay on Okaloosa Island at the Islander. Will be back again next year.

The view is amazing. When checking in our room we noticed the back door lock was broken off. They had someone look at it right away and he was back the next morning to fix it! Everyone was very nice and efficient. My daughter left her wallet and we didn’t notice until we were too far to turn around. When we asked for them to mail it to us they immediately had the wallet and it was in the mail being sent back to us that afternoon! So thankful for their kindness! We will definitely be back!

The furniture is modern and comfortable and I found all the grounds people at the condo hardworking and friendly. At bedtime, the day we arrived, we discovered there were no blankets for the foldout bed and not enough blankets for the other rooms. We called the after hours number and a lovely employee helped us resolve the issue with some effort on her behalf. We appreciated her going the extra mile as well as her courteous manner. I’ve booked through Brooks and Shorey for years and highly recommend them.

Great Vacation!

The condo was perfectly located on the beach with a nice sized balcony to see it on. We saw a dolphin and sting rays from the balcony. The condo had everything we needed and I love the calm colors and all the space. The beach chair and umbrella service was super nice and convenient. We used one of the complimentary passes to do the sunset dolphin cruise on the Catteywampas and that was amazing! I love that there is an app to use for the property, so it was easy to refer to information and to check out. This area has restaurants close by (Stewbys and Old Bay Steamers was delicious!) and Destin is the perfect distance where you are away from the business but close enough to get to for fun. Definitely want to stay here again! Only suggestion would be to get a new mattress in the master bedroom, it was not comfortable, but the other bedroom mattress was great!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The weather was not great at the bet of our week due to the hurricane. The condo was nice and had all that we needed. Good access to the beach.

Bedrooms

We had a great time. Place was in excellent location. Very clean. We only had an issue with bedrooms. No blankets on the beds or anywhere in the place so we were very uncomfortable at night as we were cold. Pillows no good either and bed in second bedroom very uncomfortable.But other than that everything was great.
