Beautiful location/view, Comfortable condo, Relaxing vacay!

The relaxing, comfortable condo was the perfect location for a couple's re-connection vacay! Panhandle Florida beaches are among the best in the world and this condo highlights a beautiful view of the one on Okaloosa island. Delicious restaurants are nearby, along with a slew of activities for those who want to be more active.

This Gulf front property is high class and with its one building, you're bound to have more peace and quiet here than larger more populated properties. Unit 412 is a great one bedroom condo for a couples getaway or a family vacay even. We're so glad you enjoyed the views of the Gulf of Mexico as well as all the fun creatures it holds. We appreciate your comment on the mattress, as you hinted in your feedback mattress comfort is a huge personal preference and it's difficult for one mattress to hit the bullseye on comfort zone to every guests, so we appreciate your understanding!! We've made notes on all your comments, thank you for relaying your feedback so we can tend to the items listed. Yes, these balcony sliding doors are hard to keep up, being directly on the Gulf of Mexico affords lots of salty air wind and rain making rust inevitable and these balcony doors needing new parts more often than normal condos. We'll get some new wheels on this door if needed!! This is a lovely one bedroom condo and Pelican Isle is truly a wonderful property with great amenities. A pool, hot tub, gym and direct access to the Gulf, there's not much to be longed for in a vacation destination! When we arrived there was only a shower curtain liner in the Master bath. We love the location and plan to stay again next year for 2-3 months and wish these issues were addressed.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved booking with Brooks and Shorey Resorts! They handled everything perfectly and the beach service was fantastic! The golf package was ideal for my husband and son! Also enjoyed the dolphin cruise and Gulfarium which we booked thru their service. A few minor maintenance issues (lights and air fresheners needed replaced)in the condo. Will be happy when the Fort Walton Beach bridge is replaced to help traffic but the condo stay was wonderful.

We loved the condo 412 . it was our first time staying on the beach in many yrs. Loved it so much hope to be back and would to stay here again. the condo was great and the process was easy. Only thing i would fix is the king size bed in master. It needs to be replaced. The right side has a big sunk in spot in it. The springs are broken or something making the bed on right side very uncomfortable. Other than that everything was perfect!

One is the mattress needs to be replaced In the master it is very worn out. Two is maintenance needs to recaulk the caulking in the bathrooms because there is mold in them. I will return and hopefully they fix these things. We had a great time!

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Honestly I wasn’t impressed. Our condo was not as nice as the one our friends stayed in and it was WAY too loud in the front bedroom to be able to enjoy a morning. It was clear we were paying for the convenience & the view. We would not stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, the stay was amazing! Great views and comfortable enough beds. The only annoying part was the coffee maker. Says to bring filters, but the ones I bought didn’t fit right. The machine also leaked from the bottom. I should of brought my own machine because I need my coffee. The location was pretty good. No restaurants close enough to walk to, but everything was a close enough drive away! I would definitely stay there again.

Not much to complain about

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: there were a few things that were missing that we would have liked but not enough to say we won't be back. The master bedroom needs a dresser or place to put your suitcase. the bathrooms don't have much counter space. The view was great! Appliances were nice and new. Bonus of having chairs and an umbrella was nice. Wish they had a second place to rinse off sandy feet upon exiting the beach though. Never got in the pool or hot tub so have no clue how good those were. Decent amount of parking and centrally located to everything.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We always look forward to coming each year to the pelican isle, this was our 17 year to come . The rooms are always clean and the property is great as well. The ones that work for the complex are always nice and helpful with anything ya may need or would like to know. This year was the first time we ever had trouble in a unit , on the last day the door key pad unit stopped working completely- we have one at home so we know these things happen call the brooks and Shoery property and the lady was really nice and helpful and sent someone out to check on it. Which was fine because our check was at ten. Thanks ps the kids loved the art work with the towels that was in the room when we arrived the monkey off the bunk beds was there favorite !!!

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location was perfect. Beach was nice and the kids had fun. The condo on the other hand, was very dirty. The entry door was covered in dirt. You could see the crevices covered in it. There was dust everywhere, and crumbs in the kitchen cabinets. Fridge wasn’t cleaned at all, and there was hair in the fridge. The balcony furniture was dirty as well. We were scared to turn on the fan because there was a lot of dust on it and we didn’t want to spread it. The bathrooms were clean on the other hand. Please deep clean this condo, because it is a beautiful place, with lots of potential.
