This factual review corrects multiple false claims made by a guest seeking a refund after violating safety and property rules. Swim Spa: Inspected at check-in, crystal clear and heated to 104°F. Security cameras confirm guests left the cover off nights in 60° weather, causing massive heat loss. Reported Saturday, maintenance arrived Sunday to replace it. A 1,300-gallon spa takes 16-19 hours to recover heat. Dirt entered solely because it was uncovered. No cleanliness complaints were made during the stay. The guest claims the owner visited and gave permissions. The owner does not manage this property and was never present. Rule Violations: Booked for a small family, they brought an unauthorized party with 11 cars overnight and left 15 bags of trash. They also violated our agreement and city water code by launching watercraft illegally from our shoreline. Safety & Property Damage: Guests detonated commercial fireworks—strictly illegal in Lake Elsinore and a severe risk in our High Fire Zone (up to $5,000 fine). They hid spent canisters inside our trash bags to conceal this. All camera logs and photo evidence have been submitted to Vrbo Support. We do not tolerate illegal activity, property damage, or extortion through retaliatory reviews.
