Amazing vacation!

We absolutely LOVED this condo! The view out the back windows was so much fun. And, we were literally in walking distance of everything. I was a little worried to be so close to Duval St, but we were far enough that it was quiet and peaceful, yet only a short walk! I can't wait to come back and I won't be able to stay anywhere else!

Beautiful sunsets

We had original planned on spending 3 weeks in Puerto Rico, but due to COVID 19 the trip was canceled literally last minute. We scrambled to find something last minute and this beautiful property was available in Key West. We wanted a dive trip for the boys and good snorkeling and shopping for the girls. This location can't be beat as we are literally overlooking the harbor and dive boats and just steps from shopping on Duval. We haven't been to Keys in 17 years and honestly didn't think of it as a great dive/snorkel destination. Our minds have a changed and this will certainly be an annual destination for us! Watching the sunsets off the balcony after a day on the water was the highlight of our stay. I don't feel like I could ever tire from the changing colors, beauty, and calmness it provided. Our group consisted of front line health care providers and first responders. Thank you so much for providing us a sanctuary in the midst of an otherwise hellacious year! We will definitely be back!

The compass reality group went above and beyond for my family. My mother in law was celebrating her 84 birthday. She was having some issues with accessing certain parts of our building. The team of Marissa and Oscar went above and beyond in their timely responses, even during the Thanksgiving holiday, while the main offices were closed. We were relocated to different residences with another stunning view.This property is adjacent to Mallory Square. If you want to join the festivities you can in minutes, or just look from your porch and experience your private viewing.

What a View

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The first thing for any renter to know is that this is a 3 bedroom that is being rented as a 2 bedroom. The master bedroom is a lockout and it is on the water side. There are no end tables in the living room, which may sound petty but there is no were to sit a drink except for the coffee table that is in the middle of the room. The most disappointing thing about this rental is that the gate to the waterfront is locked and the renters do not get a key. We switched from our regular Truman Annex rental because we wanted to walk to Mallory Dock along the waterfront, which we were not able to do. The carpet in the bedrooms either needs to be cleaned or replaced. We still enjoyed our trip, but it would have been a 5 star stay if not for these issues.

Be aware this is a three bedroom condo but the Primary suite is locked off for the owner. The kitchen has been updated to perfection! There is plenty of room to move around throughout the condo which makes it very comfortable. Furnishings are lovely and comfortable with plentiful seating. The view is part of the reason we rented here, better sunset than Mallory Square! We enjoyed our stay!

A fantastic kitchen and master bedroom with very accommodating and comfortable living room. Everyone really enjoyed the porch and view. Negatives: compared to the rest of the living space, the dining table and chairs were less than impressive. We were disappointed that with three couples we were only given two fobs (one couple had to occasionally use stair entrance). Also disappointing was that the fact that we did not get a key to access the marina walkway or the pool gate near the garage. The second bedroom lighting was not adequate for evening reading and the TV in that bedroom was rather small by today's standards

Perfect, perfect, perfect!!

This property is amazing. The balcony overlooks the harbor which is just being a beautiful garden where butterflies frolic all day. The weather in key west is hot in June, but the condo was comfortable and cool. Perfect space for family and friends. The large kitchen in the island was perfect for cooking breakfast and dinner in and the dining room table was great for card games in the evenings. I will definitely be back!

Celebrating 50 years with family and friends

We absolutely loved this property and would love to visit again! This trip was arranged to have family and friends come together to celebrate my husband and I on our 50th birthdays. We booked for he and I, and our children but also wanted a great place for family and friends who were staying close by to hang out. The condo itself was beautiful and was wonderfully appointed. Truman's Annex is such a wonderful place to be in KW! You have the fun and craziness of Duval St. just a block away and the peace and quiet of the Truman's Annex community. It was also a plus to have the view each night of the sunsets and we enjoyed waking and having our morning coffee looking at the water. The only down side was we never able to figure out all the different keys on the property. We never did figure out what keys that we were given opened any of the outside gates which meant we were always having to walk out and down the block to get to the sea wall. It all worked out and we made many lasting memories at this location.
