Great cabin, very cozy! Host was very communicative, check in process was as simple as saying "we're on the way," check out was easy, the kitchen was stocked with water, coffee, utensils and plates, etc., everything we could have forgotten and needed was there; will definitely rent again when we come back next year.

The cabin was perfect for our needs this weekend. The porch was very nice in the morning while we drank our coffee. It had everything we needed and only 5 miles to the boat ramp we chose to use. We would definitely stay here again.

Privacy was Exceptional

We were looking for a quick getaway from the city and found it less than three hours away. Our expectations were met and exceeded by the accommodations. We would definitely recommend the facility and stay there again.

Weekend away

Wonderful location to Sardis lake-right across the street and down a short walkable trail. Host was constantly available by phone, but we really had everything we could need for a nice, quiet weekend. Enjoyed Sardis and Clayton lake while there. We will be back!

The owner was very hospitable and helpful. The cabin was so cute and in the most beautiful setting. Had a view of Sardis Lake. Sardis Lake has a wonderful Nature trail very near the cabin. Robbers Cave State Park is just about 40 mins away and had really interesting hiking areas along with lots of activities. Cabin also very near Clayton Lake - also wonderful.

It was more than I’d hoped for. We were looking for a nice quiet getaway in nature. The views were wonderful. So many stars at night. The cabin was very clean and had a perfect “mountain cabin “ feel with great attention to detail on amenities. Host Gary was friendly and very responsive. The VALUE of the experience is excellent.

We love the cabin. Inside and out it is just right for the two of us. Sit out on the covered deck and listen to the pines as they whisper away your Dallas stress. Watch the evening turn to violet and reflect off the lake. You cant count the stars if you had a lifetime. Mr. Gary is nearby to help if you need him. Highly recommend!

The location to the lake and cabin was very nice. I appreciated being able to keep our two small dogs for a reasonable price. The listing for RV and additional vehicle parking is incorrect however the host accommodated our 12 ft. A-liner with electric and three vehicles at an additional cost. The host lives on the property and keeps in continual contact.

"Sardis Serenity" became a memorable stay!

As a single mom I have always tried to road-trip with my sons and build memories; this 3-day vacation at Sardis Serenity was amazing: Gary, the owner was cordial and helpful, made us feel at home. The activities we could do in the surrounding areas were a bonus as well! We are definitely going back!

Great little cabin!

My little mini vaca was for a visit with friends camping at Potato Hills. I just needed a nice place to sleep and make coffee in the morning. And it was perfect. But this cabin would be great for a couple or small little family to have a nice getaway from the busy world. (If you are a light sleeper, it might be a good idea to bring a white noise machine to drown out the road noise during the night.)

Nice

Nice and clean, easy access, big covered porch for hanging outside, clean windows, view of lake better when leaves are off the trees. Comfortable furniture, nice deco but not over cutesy. On the quiet meter for us (we like silence) the little highway runs in front of the property with an average of 15 cars an hour. Not noisy but you know the cars are there and you are not completely on your own. Town is barely two miles across the damn and there are three or four restaurants, two grocery stores, several gas stations, a library, some banks, hardwear stores, convenience stores and churches. Light cooking can be done with microwave, induction cooker (single hot plate), fridge, coffee maker, small toster oven, even a small portable charcoal grill outdoors. The grounds are very nice, lots of room to walk, swing, run and holler and be safe if you have kids. Didn't meet the host but the house keeper "P" was very helpful and easy to get in touch with all in all a nice little place.

Cozy little cabin

Our stay was good. The cabin was cozy but could have used a bit of housekeeping. There was dust and spider webs throughout the cabin, the shower had lots of dead mosquitos and the bed was very hard. Make sure to bring plenty of food because there is one store with very limited options about 10 min away, everything else is 30 min+. The lakes nearby are not good for swimming. It was however, a very tranquil place to get away from the city for a few days.

Hi Veronica, we want all of our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we're sorry that you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following: - We wish you would have reached out to the Guest Contact during your stay. We would have been happy to help. - We are sorry if you were caught off guard by the distance of the property from the nearest stores. We do have the location and distances in our listing, our property is a bit off the beaten path for a wonderful break from everyday life. Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your stay.
