This stunning, modern home is the perfect place for a New Orleans adventure! Built in 2015, this AIA Award-Winning home features a modern exterior and interior, fully utilizing all of the space. Relax on the private deck/patio with a cup of morning coffee or a nightcap, kick back in the spacious living room, prepare a meal in the fully-stocked kitchen with high-end appliances, and have a restful night's sleep in the luxurious king-size bed.

Upstairs: Full Bath, Washer/Dryer, Closet, Primary Bedroom with King Bed.
There is no parking included with this stay, but there is plenty of free street parking in front of the home and in the surrounding neighborhood. We almost never have an issue parking right in front of the entryway.
Please note that there is a small loft on the third floor that is STRICTLY off-limits to guests due to insurance reasons. The ladder to this space is blocked off. Guests found to have removed this block or accessed this space may be subject to fees or eviction from the property.

This home is not ADA compliant. As required by law in the City of New Orleans, this home is equipped with a noise-monitoring device that measures the decibel level of sound in the home. This device is not capable of recording audio, it simply measures sound levels to ensure occupants are not disturbing neighbors.
You'll have complete access to the home and everything in it, with the exception of the third floor loft area, which has to be blocked off due to insurance liability reasons.
There’s usually street parking directly in front of the house or within the block.

Our home is located in the Irish Channel neighborhood, one of coolest locations in the city! While the house is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city, you're less than 5 blocks from famous Magazine Street, which features some of the best restaurants, boutiques, and trendy shops in the Big Easy.

You'll be about a 15 minute walk to the nearest Streetcar stop at St. Charles & Eighth. If you brought your own car, there's plenty of free street parking in the neighborhood. Ubers and Lyfts are plentiful in this area due to the proximity to Magazine Street.
The Irish Channel and Garden District neighborhoods are currently in the midst of City street repairs. Low profile cars are not recommended!
New Orleans is prone to hurricanes and other storms, sometimes outside of the normal season. Please note that we do not move, cancel, or provide refunds or credits for any reason, including COVID, road conditions/closures, travel cancellations, and weather conditions. If you think you may need to cancel for any reason, we HIGHLY SUGGEST that you purchase trip insurance or book closer to your travel dates.
***There is a $200 security/damage deposit collected 3 days prior to arrival, and returned shortly after your stay. This is done as a $200 hold on your method of payment, not a full charge. Please see the rental agreement (required to be read and signed before booking) for more details. ***
1. The booking guest must have their ID uploaded to their profile.
2. Please be mindful of the neighbors sleeping. We recommend being quiet after 8:30pm (weekdays including Sundays) and 9:00pm (weekends).
3. While early check-in / late checkout may be available, this must be arranged ahead of time for an extra fee. Unauthorized Late checkouts are a $50 charge for each hour after 11am - a 15 minute grace period is given. Late checkouts MUST be requested before 9PM the day before your departure.
4. Clean towels are a provided amenity, there is a washer and dryer in the unit if you need a refresh!
5. Smoking & vaping in the unit will result in a $500 deodorization fee.
6. Unregistered guests and parties are prohibited by local laws and ILLEGAL. Our occupancy limits are set by local ordinance. Any guest found to have had a party or over-occupancy will be charged a $1,000 fee for non-compliance with local laws. As of May 2022, all rental platforms have specifically banned parties from their units. Violation of this rule will result in a ban from the platform.
7. Please do not hang or attach anything to the walls with push pins, tape, etc. or other painted surfaces.
8. Please do not use face towels to remove makeup, it damages the towels. There are makeup towels provided for this use.
9. If the space is left excessively dirty $50 will be charged for each additional hour of cleaning required. Removal of bodily fluids will result in a charge of $150. Glitter cleanup will result in a charge of $100.
10. Pets are NOT allowed at this listing. Unauthorized pets will result in an additional $250 deep cleaning cleaning fee and immediate request to leave. Pet Boarding recommendations available upon request.
11. After you’ve read these rules, please send me a message with the words “yellow kangaroo” it will let me know that you have read the rules thoroughly.
12. Unfortunately, we cannot accept bookings from “Locals” at this time. Locals is meant to include anyone residing within 60 miles of New Orleans.
13. While we cannot receive any mail or packages to the space we will assist with getting packages shipped to New Orleans if needed.
14. Commercial video and photo shoots are strictly forbidden without prior and authorized consent. Associated day-rate fees, liability waivers and copyright contracts will apply if consent is given.
15. Message us for long term stays.
16. Trash & recycling is picked up on Friday.
17. All of our TV's are streaming, we do not provide any account information, you will have to log into your own. Please remember to log out at check out. We do not have cable TV.
18. Should you wish to receive an early check-in or late check-out, please let us know the day before and we will determine if it's possible. We require time to prepare the unit for your stay or after your stay for the next guest and sometimes we are unable to accommodate. If we can accommodate, we will charge $25/hour for the additional booking time. This will also be in place for dropping luggage off or leaving your luggage after checkout time has passed. Payment will be requested after your additional time has been approved.
19. Lost Items: We return lost items for a $75 flat fee. This is to cover shipping costs, along with the time spent to retrieve & mail your item. If you leave anything at the unit, please let us know immediately.
20. Please do not slam the gate. Adjacent neighbors can hear.
21. The loft area above bedroom is STRICTLY off-limits to guests due to insurance liability reasons. The ladder that accesses it is blocked off. Guests found to have tampered with this or having accessed the space may be subject to fines or eviction from the property.
