A rare find, this bright unit is just mere blocks from the vibrant lifestyle that exudes color, music, and soul. This beautifully reimagined 1900's Treme home has maintained it's New Orleans charm and masterfully crafted with guests in mind. Centrally located, you'll find yourself a short walk / ride to the bustling French Quarter and all that the Marigny and Frenchmen Street have to offer.

From the moment you approach the unit, you'll be welcomed by the lush greenery surrounding the home. Step into the bright entry way and take a look around your cozy accommodations. This property abounds with special amenities including networked wifi routers (with reliable hi-speeds), USB plugs throughout, washer and dryer in-unit, worldly art and decor that is sure to catch your eye, shared backyard space (pets welcome!), and private patios in front and back with seating.

Our bright and open space is the perfect setting for a mid-sized group or families looking to gather and create memories together! This 2 bedroom home can sleep up to 5 guests and the bedroom configurations are as follows:
Bedroom 1: 1 King Bed with en suite bath
Bedroom 2: 2 Twin Beds
Common Area: 1 Full bath

This home is a typical Shotgun style layout, common to New Orleans. Bedrooms are connected and one has to be entered/passed through in order to get to the other (there is a door that separates each room, allowing for privacy), You'll enter through the front door into the living room, then through to the kitchen, then pass through the first bedroom (with the two twin beds), then the first bathroom, then another door that leads into the back bedroom (with the king bed) and its ensuite bath, then out the back door to the yard. There is a floor plan included in the photos to give you an even better idea of the layout!

The home is professionally cleaned prior to every stay and stocked with kitchen essentials, bathroom toiletries, linens and towels for your group.

From beautiful sights, taste bud tingling foods, and vibrant live music, who wouldn’t want to visit?! We recommend using public transportation, including streetcars, buses, Uber or Lyft during your stay. For another fun way to explore the area, try Blue Bikes, a ride sharing bike rental all around the city.

Upon acceptance of your reservation, you will receive a welcome letter containing all of the information you need to access the home and ensure your stay is a memorable one! If you have any additional questions, we are available at any time to assist.

* Important Note - This property is not suitable for guests allergic to cats, as the outdoor common space is shared with a resident with multiple cats *

**There is a $200 security/damage deposit collected 3 days prior to arrival, and returned shortly after your stay. This is done as a $200 hold on your method of payment, not a full charge. Please see the rental agreement (required to be read and signed before booking) for more details. ***
1. The booking guest must have their ID uploaded to their airbnb profile.

2. Please be mindful of the neighbors sleeping. We recommend being quiet after 8:30pm (weekdays including Sundays) and 9:00pm (weekends).

3. While early check-in / late checkout may be available, this must be arranged ahead of time for an extra fee. Unauthorized Late checkouts are a $50 charge for each hour after 11am - a 15 minute grace period is given.

4.Clean towels are a provided amenity. Each guest listed through your reservation will receive 1 bath towel and 1 face towel. We are unable to fulfill requests for additional towels during the duration of your stay. Plan ahead while packing, please bring extra towels if you or any of your guests anticipate needing more.

5. Smoking & vaping in the unit will result in a $500 deodorization fee. Please smoke outside of the property.

6. Unregistered guests and parties are prohibited by local laws and ILLEGAL. Our occupancy limits are set by local ordinance. Any guest found to have had a party or over-occupancy will be charged a $1,000 fee for non-compliance with local laws. Exterior cameras present at the property to verify these laws/house rules are not broken. As of May 2022, Airbnb has specifically banned parties from their units. Violation of this rule will result in a ban from Airbnb.

7. Please do not hang or attach anything to the walls with push pins, tape, etc. or other painted surfaces.

8. Please do not use face towels to remove makeup, it damages the towels.

9. If the space is left excessively dirty $50 will be charged for each additional hour of cleaning required. Removal of bodily fluids will result in a charge of $150. Glitter cleanup will result in a charge of $100.

10. Unauthorized pets will result in an additional $250 deep cleaning cleaning fee and immediate request to leave. Pet Boarding recommendations available upon request. Both the owner and staff have pet allergies. If traveling with pets please inquire about our pet friendly units.

11. After you’ve read these rules, please send me a message with the words “yellow kangaroo” it will let me know that you have read the rules thoroughly.

12. Unfortunately, we cannot accept bookings from “Locals” at this time. Locals is meant to include anyone residing within 60 miles of New Orleans.

13. While we cannot receive any mail or packages to the space we will assist with getting packages shipped to New Orleans if needed.

14. Commercial video and photo shoots are strictly forbidden without prior and authorized consent. Associated day-rate fees, liability waivers and copyright contracts will apply if consent is given.

15. Message us for long term stays.

16. Trash is picked up on Thursday.

17. All of our TV's are streaming, we do not provide any account information, you will have to log into your own. Please remember to log out at check out. We do not have cable TV.

18. Should you wish to receive an early check-in or late check-out, please let us know the day before and we will determine if it's possible. We require time to prepare the unit for your stay or after your stay for the next guest and sometimes we are unable to accommodate. If we can accommodate, we will charge $25/hour for the additional booking time. This will also be in place for dropping luggage off or leaving your luggage after checkout time has passed. Payment will be requested through Airbnb after your additional time has been approved.

19. Lost Items: We return lost items for a $75 flat fee.  This is to cover shipping costs, along with the time spent to retrieve & mail your item. If you leave anything at the unit, please let us know immediately.
