Excellent house for our extended family trip. Very clean and plenty of room to spread out. Loved the indoor pool. Personal touch with the in-person walk thru of the house.

House as listed and perfect for our group of 8 adults. Clean and well furnished. Some parts of house in process of being upgraded but didn’t impact our stay. Had issues with dishwasher and door lock but hosts were very responsive and good communicators. Would recommend for large groups. Plenty of areas to separate or be together.

This is a great place for a multi generational family event or reunion. The pool and theater room are a tremendous plus and the bed space is very flexible to accommodate big groups. The island is huge and with a lot of seating. Our family had a wonderful weekend and enjoyed all the spaces and it exceeded all our expectations.

Thank you for the great review and for staying with us! We’re glad you enjoyed the property and amenities. We appreciate the feedback on the pool temperature as well — the pool is heated, but during cooler Wisconsin spring weather it can sometimes take longer to maintain the extra-warm temperatures some guests prefer. We’re always monitoring and adjusting it to provide the best experience possible. We’d love to host you again!

Gut: Kommunikation
The property was large enough for our group. The house was okay just seemed unkept. The driveway was overgrown (limbs hitting our vehicles) and the landscaping was full of weeds. The back patio was also unkept with some doors unable to be opened and a construction horse left out. Some updates were new and upscale but didn’t match the vibe throughout. We paid over 1500 per night with fees. For the expense I would expect a polished finish. Despite old reviews describing an issue with the dishwasher, there was still an error code. Requiring an exact check in time for a walk through was not very convenient. Check out was easy. The property served our purpose but did not match the expense.

We had the best time with our friends during our stay. The house is the perfect layout for multiple families. The pool and movie room were a huge hit with the kids and kept them busy the entire time. The hosts were very gracious and attentive to our questions prior to the trip. The only reason we aren’t giving 5 stars is due to the fact that the house still seemed a little under construction (painters tape on walls, loose toilet, etc) but didn’t really impact our stay. Other than that, we loved our stay!

Thank you so much for the kind and thoughtful review, Cassandra. We’re thrilled to hear that you and your friends had such a great time and that the layout, pool, and movie room were a hit with the kids. Creating a space that works well for multiple families is exactly what we aim for. We also appreciate you noting the finishing items you observed. Those punch-list items were addressed shortly after your stay, and we’re grateful for your understanding as we completed the final touches. Thank you again for choosing our home — we’d be happy to host you again anytime.

This property is better suited for a bachelor party than a family gathering. The pool was not in usable condition for our stay. We were issued a partial refund.

The pool was very clean and well heated when we stayed in early January. The host was extremely responsive to any questions I had before arrival and while we were there. There were plenty of paper products and coffee was included. The listing is not accurate with regard to sizes of beds in the bedrooms (no rooms actually have 2 queens, three rooms have a queen and a twin) which led to some issues fitting parents and two elementary age kids in the same room. I do agree with earlier reviewers that contractors did not install everything properly (dishwasher not secured and tips forward when unloading the bottom rack, toilet in bathroom near the pool not well secured to the floor and moves when you sit/stand).

Thank you for staying with us and for taking the time to leave a detailed review. We’re glad you enjoyed the clean, well-heated pool and that our team was able to be responsive before and during your stay. We also appreciate you flagging the two areas that missed the mark. We’ve updated the listing to clearly reflect the exact bed configuration in each bedroom so future guests can plan appropriately. In addition, we’ve addressed the contractor install items you noted: the dishwasher has been properly secured, and the toilet near the pool has been re-seated and fastened to eliminate any movement. We take feedback like this seriously because it helps us keep the home safe, accurate, and comfortable. We’d be happy to host you again.

We’re sorry this guest was dissatisfied. The concerns raised here do not reflect the condition of the home or the experience of the vast majority of our guests. No safety issues or major system failures were reported during the stay, and our records show the host remained responsive throughout. We take guest comfort and safety seriously and address any issues immediately when brought to our attention.

The house needs some improvement to make it worth the current price... but it has a lot of potential. The hosts were great to work with and accommodated our desires and needs. I'm giving it 3 stars because it didn't feel worth the price we paid. I think it could be if the guys invest a little bit more and how better workers to do their installs. The pool was a big incentive to rent it, but the murky greenish water made me a bit hesitant to let my girls swim in it. There were some poorly installed plumbing fixtures and doors that made for frustrating situations as well. The bedding is cheap and scratchy too... but they said that's something on their list of things to improve. If the price came down... is be more apt to recommend it to friends.
Big kitchen counter great for gathering family around.
