Retreat to the French countryside at our lovely 18th century Maison de Maître in the gorgeous Madiran hills. Perfect for couples, friends or small families, our one-bedroom annexe offers a cosy and private space (up to 3 people). Relax in our spacious 12 x 6m swimming pool and soak up the sun on the terrace. Lovely countryside walks and space for relaxation. Friendly Anglo-Australian hosts, who speak French and English.

Location:
Set in tranquil countryside near Lembeye (8 mins by car) on the St Jacques de Compostella walking route (Maubourguet to Anoye) with many other walking paths. A good base for day trips to the valleys of the central Pyrenees, Lourdes, Pic du Midi, and Pau; near to Marciac jazz and the Madiran vineyards.

Local and vibrant markets are within a short driving distance. Visitors can sample famous South-West gastronomy at a range of country restaurants and bars.

Please note:
You need a car for your stay, as this is a rural area.
To maintain the security of our home there are security cameras installed in common areas at the property like the driveway and courtyard.
Please note that we have pets (cats and dogs – a golden retriever and cocker spaniel).
The upstairs ceiling is sloping.

We are widely travelled welcoming international hosts who speak English and French. If you wish to practise your English while you stay with us, we are very happy to converse with you in this language.
