Shine Bay is a beautifully maintained 3 BD, 2 BA waterfront beach house situated right on the bay with a private dock. The private beach on Little Gasparilla Island is just a few steps down the sandy pathway known as Coconut Palm Lane.
The Space:
Shine Bay features spacious living areas, a modern kitchen, a dining room table that seats six plus outdoor dining on the screened porch and three bedrooms. The upstairs bedroom is large and airy and has a doorway opening to a private deck beyond. The windows have plantation shutters to best control the light and add to the coastal vibe. Two other bedrooms, one with a king bed and one with two full size beds (bunkbeds) offer plenty of room for guests.
Shine Bay is situated directly on the bay and has been thoughtfully designed to offer the ultimate beach house experience, with maximum convenience. Plus, it is only a 2-3 minute walk to the beach! This waterfront cottage overlooks a private dock where you can dock your boat, fish or net shrimp, clean the days catch, and enjoy a spectacular sunrise and watch playful dolphins, manatees and shore birds throughout the day. This location offers quick and easy access to the Gulf, so serious fishermen will appreciate the convenience! A large, screened porch has dramatic views of the bay, plus comfortable rocking chairs and a hammock offer a shady spot to relax. Downstairs, an outdoor shower, half bathroom, and a deck with an outdoor kitchen provides a great spot for parties or a relaxing shore dinner overlooking the bay.
Inside, this home is crisp, clean and designed with every comfort in mind. There is a large modern kitchen, dining for six plus a table on the porch for outdoor dining, The kitchen flows into the living area with comfortable seating and lovely views of island foliage and the bay beyond.
The large upstairs bedroom features a king size bed and has doors leading to a private deck. The second bedroom offers a king size bed. The third bedroom offers bunkbeds with two doubles. This home sleeps six to eight comfortably. The rates are based on six guests and there is an additional charge for guests in excess of 8.
The house has a great kitchen to plan great family meals. Accommodations include all linens, hair dryer, full laundry, and beach towels, beach chairs so all you need to pack is swimsuits and casual wear to enjoy your time on the island.
If you wish to rent a golf cart, ask about the owner's golf cart which may be available to rent for $50/day.
