It is most unfortunate the central furnace failed just before your arrival and the HVAC company was not able to repair it before your stay. We messaged you about the situation and provided portable room heaters, but you didn’t see the message until the second day. The guests immediately following your stay found the portable room heaters to be more than adequate to warm the house. The oven works just fine, but has an oddity in that the oven clock must be reset after each power outage in order for the oven to work. We reset the clock when we are aware an outage has occurred, though short outages do sometimes escape notice. The instructions for the oven and the clock reset are posted in 3 places in the kitchen. We strive to give our guests the best possible experience and regret your unfortunate experience. It is our hope that you will give us another opportunity to host you in the future.
