Escape to the tranquility of our pet-friendly Lakehouse. It is a lakefront 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom house surrounded by nature in the heart of charming historic Mount Dora. This elegant property features a king bed, queen bed, and two twin trundle beds, perfect for a nice getaway with friends or family. With amenities including Tesla universal EV charger (NACS and J1772), propane infrared grill, pool table, arcade basketball game, Keurig, washing machine, WiFi, AC, lakefront patio, well-appointed kitchen with Viking appliances, bath essentials, luxurious bedding, and four televisions. Wake up to gorgeous sunrise lake views, take a short walk to great restaurants and picturesque historic Mt. Dora. You are surrounded by the sounds of nature, birds and turtles abound. Guests can relax and unwind in comfort. Enjoy the convenience of 3 well-appointed bedrooms with luxury bedding; 3 full bathrooms with shampoo, body wash, towels and other essentials; a well-appointed kitchen with high-end appliances and all essential cooking and dining supplies; living room and separate sunny seating area/dining room; and a game room - enjoy family fun with a pool table, arcade basketball game, ceiling fans, television, seating area, and ventilated retractable garage door screen creating a separate outdoor living space. The house was just like the pictures and beds are so comfortable. It is very well decorated with some fun, unique features. We all really felt welcomed. Beautiful views of the lake and we enjoyed the pool table in the game room, too. The Tesla charger with adaptor is a huge plus for anyone with an EV. Host was very responsive and friendly! Would definitely recommend and we will stay here again if we are back in the area!

We had a truly perfect stay! The home was spotless, the beds were super comfy, and the welcome basket was such a thoughtful surprise—it made us feel instantly at home. We loved this home. It was my husband and I, my daughter and her husband and our dog Avery. The house had everything we needed and the location was great. One of the best stocked home we have stayed in, from coffee choices, cream, sweeteners, etc. a generous welcome basket, and everything you could need in the bathrooms. The living areas were spacious and the views of the lake was perfect. A very quiet and relaxing home. Will definitely stay again if we are visiting the area. Communications with the host was quick and responsive. Jill thank you for making our stay so special.

Wonderful home. Quiet neighborhood.The Host was fast to answer questions. Very close to Downtown Mount Dora. We made the walk from the home to downtown in 20 minutes. 1.5 miles. We would definitely stay here again

The house was nicely cleaned and VERY WELL stocked with anything a person may need- plenty of dishes, pans, paper goods, toilet paper, paper towels and even some treats! Plenty of towels too! It was a fun place with a great pool table and basketball game. Wonderful neighborhood with a gorgeous view!! The owners were super responsive! Comfortable beds and a comfortable home to spend time with family.

This was one of our favorite VRBO homes ever! We stayed for 3 weeks and couldn't have been happier or felt more at home. The house was clean and set up with anything we needed for our stay, including a welcome basket, and items for our dogs (bowls/bed). Our beds were very comfortable, TV's were newer and easy to use, and the kitchen was well stocked. Our favorite thing to do was sit out back in the morning and early evening overlooking the water, watching all the birds, and enjoying coffee /cocktail with our dogs walking around in the secured yard. The location is very quiet, and walking to downtown Mt Dora and nearby restaurants was a breeze. Last but not least, the host Jill was incredibly responsive and welcoming. We will definitely be back to this home next year .... loved it.

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful lakeside home! The home is so warm and inviting, with charming touches that made it feel like a true home away from home. The highlight was definitely the stunning view – mornings spent sipping coffee on the brick deck while taking in the serene water, was pure bliss.The location is perfect! The neighborhood is wonderful. It was just the right distance to downtown, so you get the peace and quiet of the home, but it’s a quick and easy drive to shops, restaurants, and local attractions. It really felt like the best of both worlds.The property was spotless, and the host was super responsive and accommodating. We truly felt like we were staying somewhere special. If you're looking for a peaceful, picturesque spot with easy access to everything downtown has to offer, this place is a must!

We were aghast to hear that these guests reported finding a few dog hairs around the house, a hair in a shower drain, and a used K-cup in the coffee maker. We have our lakehouse professionally cleaned and offered to send out an emergency cleaning crew, which they initially accepted but later rejected when said cleaners were nearly there, incurring a fee for us. We profusely apologized and removed a day's costs off of the guests' charges, but got no further complaints or other comments that would warrant a rating of 2. Our other prior guests rated us 10 out of 10, and our current guests indicated to us that they are very happy.
