Comfortable chalet

We have enjoyed our skiing holiday in this comfortable challet despite the fact that the wheather was so different every day and not the best for skiing:)

The apartament is very comfortable, well equiped kitchen (we missed only a pan for pancakes :) , the beds are comfortable, the bathrooms did not cause any inconvenience. Every day we felt like at home after skiing.

Location is perfect - ski bus stop is near the chalet.

For improvement only one suggestion: please find a possibillity to make a place for clothes and ski-boots drying.

Everything else is fine. The instructions and "key-system" are perfect!!!

Comfortable, convenient and relaxing

Cosy, well equipped apartment with excellent location for all activities in the area including walking, mountain biking and mountaineering.

Good local restaurants but kitchen well equipped if you want to eat in including the fabulous hot stone.

Convenient to train and bus so no need to have a car. Local shops good or a short train ride to Chamonix.for supermarkets.

Excellent, friendly and efficient customer service from the owners.

Would definitely recommend as an ideal holiday base in this area.

Endor is the perfect winter getaway

Could hardly imagine a warmer, practical, or more serene cabin in which to have spent five days in. The apartment was very skiier friendly. There are multiple ski-hire locations in town, no more than five minutes away; getting equipment was refreshingly painless and the porch area proved an effortlessly easy place to store our things. It was just a stroll across the road to La Flegere ski-lift. The cable-car transports you to some great slopes for all abilities. My girlfriend Vanessa was an absolute beginner while I had skiied five or six times before. Neither of us were ever bored. We stuck together down some really nice scenic blue-runs and I got to come down the mountain on the tube-chute of a black-run which you can ride all the way back to the lift station.

The cabin itself was well equipped for tired skiiers with both bath and shower facilities. Everything worked well and the place had that kind of Scandanvian economy and decor, lots of lovely wood and big windows for stunning mountain views. The bedroom was cosy; sometimes lie-ins were just too tempting. We are both busy students and found the place an ideal study zone in the evenings, with long comfy sofas for sprawling out and reading on (when we weren't just curled up by the fire, which was too beautiful not to have going, or watching a dvd on the television). We couldn't get over how quiet and peaceful it was.

Worth checking out the restaurants around too. The Hotel Eden up the road does great food (we treated ourselves one night) and there was also a pizza place right across from us. Alternatively, a short evening walk to the Cremerie Du Moulin rewards you with savoyard specialties (they do a mean fondue). The apartment was really perfect for an evening-in though, and the village shop did the most melt-in-the-mouth brie (as well as cereal and other essentials).

Hard to pin-point exactly why the apartment inspired us both with such a feeling of zen-like calm but it really did. Everything ran so smoothly for the whole five days. A big thank you to the owners for making the place so cosy. A place quite like this must be hard to find. We couldn't recommend it more earnestly.

Endor - brilliant apartment!

This is an extremely well equipped apartment in a tastefully designed modern chalet complex in Les Praz, a small village 3 km from Chamonix. The setting is stunning, overlooking Mont Blanc, Aiguille du Midi and Aiguille Verte to the south and Aiguilles Rouge to the north. The apartment is close to La Flegere cable car station, the train station and a bus stop. The trains and busses are clean, efficient and free for travellers who have rented hotel or private accommodation. These provide easy access to the whole Chamonix valley and Swiss border, and it is a pleasant 25 minute walk into Chamonix beside the river Arve. The Aiguille du Midi, La Flegere, Brevant , Argentiere and Col de Balme cable cars whisk you effortlessly into the high mountains, while the mountain railway from Chamonix takes you to the Mer de Glace glacier. The apartment is ideally located for a wide range of activities including mountain paths and ski routes suitable for all levels of ability, rock climbing, hang gliding, canyoning, white water rafting, via ferrrata, golf.....! There is something for everyone!

The apartment is extremely comfortable and well furnished and equipped. The beds are very comfortable, the master bedroom is en suite and there is a separate bath/shower (excellent after a hard day on the mountain!) and toilet; a small balcony overlooks the Aiguilles Rouge. The apartment sleeps up to 8, but would be 'cosy' for 8 adults; the bedroom in the roof space sleeps 2 and is ideal for children, but has limited headroom for adults. However, if you simply want to collapse in comfort after a busy day, it would be fine.

Several nearby restaurants offer food ranging from very well priced pizzas/burgers/pasta (e.g. Rhododendrons) and more traditional French food (Le Rendezvous) to much more elaborate fare at La Cabane on the nearby beautiful golf course and Hotel Eden, almost on the doorstep. When we ate at Hotel Eden, the restaurant was full with about 50 extremely noisy Brits, the staff were harassed and the food was expensive and poor. Restaurant Le Sarpe, a 15 minute walk from the apartment, provides a real French ambience and specialises in food from the Savoie region. There are convenient shops for those ever-day essentials.

Bottom line: a lovely apartment which has a wide range of outdoor activities and leisure opportunities right on the doorstep. Can we go back next week please!!

Fantastic Appartment - great location

We have enjoyed a very comfortable holiday in this challet despite the fact that the sun was shining and the snow was melting fast! There is so much to do from here - golf, tree climbing, white water rafting etc etc. The challet is extremily well laid out and has a lovely feel about it, the kitchen has everything you need, the beds are comfortable, the bathrooms never ran out of hot water - I can't think of a bad thing to say! Can thoroughlt recommend!

This is a wonderful chalet in a perfect location for all winter and summer sports & activities in the Chamonix area + easy access to both Switzerland and Italy. The chalet is very comfortable and well equipped. We strongly recommend. Suffice to say we have been here 5 times...
