Gorgeous Lake Retreat

Its a stunning house, with gorgeous proximity to the lake. Very clean and well kept. Our group love loved it. Will say that the house is much much closer to the neighboring houses than you imagine. And its a little bit smaller than you think. Bit still boasts a gorgeous living room with ceiling high windows facing the lake, and immediate dock access to the lake.

Very clean, good location, could be so much better!

Pros - Location: quiet and close to restaurants, marina and wineries. - VERY clean. - VeryCOMFORTABLE beds! - Great floor plan, lots of space to spread out, big bathrooms for sharing etc... - Big deck with lots of seating - Plenty of parking - Has beach towels for use, so nice. - has lake access and swim dock (via a very steep and long staircase) Cons: - Ridiculously uncomfortable seating in the main living area! You can not lean back, no support etc… yes its big, but not at all conducive to relaxing, think of it like a footstool. Watching TV was horrible, pile up pillows behind you etc. - 3 chairs with the dining table, Really need 6-8 so everyone can eat together etc!! -PLASTIC chairs that are flimsy and feel like a childs play set. When you lean back they creak and crack, so afraid we were going to break one!! (I am guessing one broke that's why only 3) - Master bedroom, no window coverings on the sliding door. Window coverings on windows are very light (Room faces East…so 6 am wake up on vacation!) They are pretty but not functional for sleeping in on vacation. -NO bedside table lamps in the master bedroom, must have room lights on to read etc… -Master shower door doesn't close so water leaks out and on floor. -Skillets are in need of replacement, teflon is all peeling and they are dented etc… - The plug in scents are over done and overpowering. - The stairs to the swim dock are VERY STEEP!! the bottom railing is missing (pictures don't show how long and steep it is) **I would not suggest having small children use it at all!!

We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following: - The furniture in the living room and the stairs to the swimming area are both featured in the photos. We used professional photographers to ensure the accuracy of our listing so guests can decide before booking if the house meets their expectations. Previous guests have liked that the sofa can also be used for extra sleeping space. We know, however, that everyone has their own needs and preferences for support when it comes to furniture and we are sorry you weren’t comfortable. - We have replaced the chairs in the dining room and added more. - The master bedroom now has blackout curtains and a table lamp. - We've purchased new pots and pans Thanks for taking the time to tell us about your stay and we look forward to this house hosting many more visitors to Lake Travis!

Just ok. Kind of old house needs updates.

Clean House but needs updates and improvements. Badly needed a dining set for the group to eat together. Master bed room needs blinds or covering for glass door and glass wall part . Expected lot more. Quite few more suggestions if the owner contact.

We value each guest, and we're so sorry to hear that our home was less than you imagined. We took your input seriously and made a few changes. - We ordered more dining room chairs to create seating for eight. We had seating for four at our dining room table so we have added four more chairs for a larger group dining experience. - We have purchased new carpet and wood for the bedrooms and game room to be replaced at the end of June. - We added a fresh coat of paint and made some repairs to the outdoor furniture. - We will add shades to the sliding doors that look out onto the lake in the master bedroom. They can be used or not used if people prefer a view. We hope you received our welcome gift and that you will give us a try again with our improvements!"

Beautiful home by the lake

Due to Covid, we are still taking family stay-cations in our area and this home was perfect! The check-in process was super easy and the home felt very welcoming upon arrival. The St Patrick’s Day decor was a cute surprise (we went in March during Spring Break). The kids loved the trampoline and their own rooms. We spent the majority of our time enjoying the huge back deck. The upstairs loft with a pool table was also a favorite! The owner’s attention to the little things like labeling the cabinets in the kitchen was much appreciated! There was even a little gift for us when we arrived. My only request would be to label the TV remotes. We couldn’t find remotes for a few of the TVs but not a big deal! Overall, I highly recommend this home and we are looking forward to coming back!

We had 10 people staying at this house for a bachelorette get together over the weekend and it was perfect! Everyone slept comfortably (we were comfortable sharing beds), and they even left a cute little candle as a welcome gift. The backyard is beautiful. We didn't get in the water but there were neighbors that were. We cooked using the stove tops and the charcoal grill. We loved this house!

Beautiful house and view! Lots of space, super cool porch and great space upstairs with pool table for kids to hang out. Easy access to the lake with a great swimming dock. The property manager and owner were very responsive.

Amazing!

We had one of a lifetime experience ever! The place was well kept and spotless Made us felt like at home! Well preserved and private And best of all no annoying neighbors, very respectful and friendly community. One of the best views from the comfort of your bed or the deck (if your a morning person) Would RECOMMEND to ANYONE ! ! Perfect weekend getaway

What a wonderful weekend we had relaxing and enjoying this beautiful home. We were in dire need of a retreat for our family after being cooped up for the last couple months and this fit the bill perfectly. Beautiful view from the deck that sits just down from the marina in a cove. We are already making plans to return this fall or next spring.

Place is nice, very comfortable, scenery was awesome, garage in pic is not available which was a disappointment, and needs more privacy for master bedroom, but other than that great stay, all guest were impressed and loved it ( on a different note contact and guest service was the worse ) couldn’t get anyone on a weekend to help out

This home is located up on a cliff and has lake views, already making it a beautiful and private location. We are surprised to hear you didn't have a positive interaction with the local contact as they're known to promptly address guest needs and heir contact info is communicated prior to arrival. We note in an email close to the check-in date that the garage is not available. Based on your experience, we have clarified this on the listing to prevent any future confusion. Great Place for a group getaway.

I brought a small group of 8 people to this home for a weekend retreat. The group loved the home and had a great time eating meals on the outside deck, taking a dip in the water nearby, and relaxing indoors.
