This house is the perfect launching pad for your Austin adventure! It's located on 1.75 acres right on Lake Travis, but still only 25 minutes to downtown. It's recently remodeled with an open living area and tons of natural light. The romantic primary bedroom boasts a luxurious king bed, amazing tub, shower, and stunning view.
There are two attached spacious decks. One of the decks is entirely open with a stunning view and a hanging chair. The second deck is screened in for lovely evenings taking in the Texas air. The comfortable deck furniture and covered decks are perfect for relaxing outside or BBQ'ing.
There is a pool table downstairs and a Sonos speaker system throughout the house to stream your favorite tunes. The large TV has Netflix, local HD stations, and other ready-to-use streaming services.
The house fits 12 people comfortably with 2 in the primary bedroom (king bed), 2 in the 1st guest bedroom (queen size bed), 2 in the 2nd guest bedroom (queen size bed), 4 in the bunk room (4 twin size beds), and 2 on the sofa bed in the living area (queen size).
Keep the family entertained or work from home with high-speed wifi and a large smart TV. Stream your favorites on Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+, and more! You’ll find a full refrigerator, oven, microwave, coffee machine, and other cooking essentials in the kitchen. The whole house has a brand new water filtration system with reverse osmosis water to the refrigerator and kitchen sink! Clean-up is a snap with the dishwasher and washer/dryer combo. You’ll be ready to head back into the city in no time!
This 2-story home is on a hillside with direct access to Lake Travis via stairs. If you or your guests have trouble using stairs, please inquire. There are plenty of stairs!
Please note that Lake Travis is a dynamic reservoir known for its fluctuating water levels, designed to capture water during rainy seasons and conserve it during drier periods. As such, our waterfront home's view of the lake are depending on current water levels. While this adds to the unique charm and beauty of our location, it means that water may not always be immediately behind the property. For guests interested in monitoring the lake's water levels during their stay or planning their waterfront activities, up-to-date information can be found by searching "Lake Travis Water Level", Go Lake Travis will show you current and past lake levels. We believe this natural ebb and flow enhances the experience of staying right on Lake Travis, offering a different adventure with each visit.

Guests will have access to the entire home plus the deck, grill (gas and charcoal), hammock, hanging chair, Sonos speakers, pool table, and backyard at the house, Cypress Creek Park is just down the road. There is a public boat ramp as well as many picnic benches.
We can provide referrals for on site yoga classes and massage therapy at the house.
If you need recommendations, we'll be available to provide them otherwise you'll have complete privacy. We'll provide you with access information before you arrive, so you'll have super quick and easy entry.
After booking you'll be provided a link where you can purchase upgrades to your booking such as early check-in and late check-out, additional cleanings, and more that will make your Austin experience even better!
We don't charge a security deposit! Where many hosts charge over $500, and where you as the guest risk them not returning your deposit – Austin Vacay remains guest-centric by charging a one-time, non-refundable fee (already included in your booking price) which provides up to $1,500 of coverage towards unintentional rental property damages (subject to plan terms and conditions). This means a lower cost to book, and because accidents happen, protection against costly charges. Plan terms and conditions provided by request after booking.

Getting around is quick and easy. The house is situated right on Bullick Hollow Rd, which gives you direct access to FM 620, as well as 2769 (Lime Creek). There isn't much public transportation in the area, so you are best having a car available, but you can easily use any ride-sharing company like Lyft or Uber into downtown and back. We will provide codes in your booking email and in the House Manual.
We also have two driveways; an upper from the main road, and then a lower driveway at the lake level. We recommend the lower driveway as the upper driveway is very steep and is good for only 2 vehicles (NO TRUCKS). There are a maximum of 4 vehicles allowed at the property total. Please minimize the in and out traffic on the lower driveway and close the gate behind you.
We have security cameras outside of our home at the entrances for added security and your peace of mind. We do not have any cameras inside of the home, respecting our guests' privacy.
1) Check-in is at 4 PM
2) No smoking allowed (of any kind) ($350 fine)
3) No loud noises after 10 PM per city ordinance

5) Please ask us about pets. LIMIT 2 small. There is a one time pet-cleaning fee of $85. Please let us know ahead of time if you will be bringing a pet; we need specific cleaning supplies to ensure allergens are gone before the next guest. If we are not notified 48 hours prior to check in, the fee will be $105. Animals must be crated when you're away, not climb on furniture, and not be left outside unattended. Owners are responsible for any damages incurred
6) The cleaning that you pay for is to clean the home prior to your stay. We don't expect you to scrub the home, but simply pick up your trash and put everything where you found it
7) Minimum age requirement is 25
8) If you do not check out on time (11AM) you will be charged an additional night
9) Please see the House Manual emailed to you a few days before your stay
10) There are a maximum of 4 vehicles allowed on the property. Dirt bikes and other off-road vehicles are not allowed on the property.
11) Trailered boats and personal watercraft are not allowed on the property. They must be parked and left at the Cypress Creek Park.
12) Please respect our neighbors and their property. Do not park or stop on their property.
13) Please minimize the in and out traffic on the lower driveway and close the gate behind you.
