It was a beautiful place with beach front access. I fractured my foot on the beach on day 3 so we never got to use the pool, but the condo was a lovely place to recover for days 4 and 5!

My family and I stayed 4 days at this location and overall, it was a great stay. Listing was as advertised, view was amazing, and the beach was conveniently located. The main bed was the only issue I had. I was not sure of the firmness level due to other reviews and I found it extra firm, which is not my preference. The bed was clean and my husband was ok with the firmness, so I just wanted to share it's a firm feel for future guests. Thank you for the stay!

This was our second stay at The Galvestonian and we loved every second. We opted for two bedrooms this time, which worked out great. This condo came equipped with everything we needed and we were very comfortable. Will stay here again!

The room was great. Clean, well-equipped, view was amazing. I’ve stayed at the Galvestonian many times but not this unit. This was my first time booking through vrbo. It was a little frustrating that the front desk kept saying “we don’t manage that properly,” and couldn’t directly assist me. Even for something as simple as “what time is checkout,” I was told “we don’t manage that property.” It makes the unit feel like it’s less-than the other units, which was frustrating and disappointing. I got there early (10am) the day of arrival and wanted to check-in when the unit was ready. I totally understand the quoted check-in was 4. I messaged the owner and didn’t get a response. I guess if the front desk can’t assist, at least make sure whoever is on the other end of the messaging service is prepared to answer questions.

The condo was clean and well stocked. We love how quiet this end of the island is. Only negative was the check in process. After reserving they sent a bunch of paperwork to be signed and asked for photo id. I've never been asked for that when booking through vrbo before. Also when we arrived, theg did not have our reservation. Had tk call the property manager and have them call the Galvestonian, which was irritating.Overall it was a good getaway. Kids loved playing on the beach, which is really convenient. They also enjoyed playing in the pool and crab hunting at night.

The room smelled amazing when we arrived, and there was calming music playing on the TVs, that was so inviting! The location is great, away from all the super busy areas on the beach, just a short 8-10 minute drive to get to the Strand and amazing restaurants. We were surprised to find some beach items in the secondary closet and made use of one of the umbrellas and the cooler bag so we didn’t need to use our bulkier cooler for beach/pool time. Also, the building supplies wagons for beach use, which was another unexpected and very nice surprise!The view was amazing, the pictures on the site don’t do the unit justice! We also loved the list of suggested restaurants, but quickly realized that making reservations on weekends is a must, even for breakfast! The only reason we aren’t giving a 5 star review is that the were no laundry facilities on site and we had to report a couple of issues with the exterior door seals to building management. We will 100% recommend this unit to friends and family and look forward to booking here again!
