Das Pelican 26 ist eine Wohnung auf 2 Ebenen mit Zugang zum Erdgeschoss und Blick auf das Meer und den Fluss Pajaro vom Wohnzimmer und dem Hauptschlafzimmer aus. Beim Eintritt werden Sie im Erdgeschoss des Hauses mit Küche, Wohnzimmer, Esszimmer, Schlafzimmer mit Queensize-Bett und Badezimmer begrüßt. Im Obergeschoss finden Sie das Hauptschlafzimmer mit Hauptbad, ein weiteres Schlafzimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten und ein komplettes Badezimmer auf dem Flur. Für eine Wohnung gibt es eine große Terrasse mit Blick aufs Wasser direkt vor dem Wohnzimmer mit Grill und Liegemöbeln ausgestattet.

The kitchen vents didn’t work. The heating system is not controlled by the thermostat, it was either to cold or to hot. The shower head was too low. It wasn’t easy access to the unit from our car. We were placed in this unit because our unit was unavailable due to construction. No instructions on how to light fireplace. The instructions for the unit were not clear, in one binder it stated don’t start dishwasher but in the sign on the island it stated to start it. When arriving, the unit smelt like mold.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’d like to clarify that this reservation was originally booked for this home, and due to temporary HOA construction affecting the patio, we proactively offered the option to remain or relocate to another nearby property. At the guest’s request, the reservation was moved to an alternate home that was available last minute. Many of the concerns noted relate to the alternate property rather than this unit. This home’s fireplace is wood-burning with standard operation, the heating system and access reflect the original building design, and marine humidity odors are a normal coastal condition that we actively manage through ventilation and cleaning. We appreciate the feedback and regret that the alternate accommodation did not fully meet expectations, and we will continue working to ensure clarity and comfort for all guests.

Great getaway

Great location and accessibility to the beach. Easy check in/out. The master bedroom offers great views of the beach. You will not be disappointed. The kitchen/living room area were nice and cozy. Plenty of space for everyone We loved and enjoyed our stay and hope to have the opportunity to return to this unit again.

A Little Bit of Paradise

This property is beautiful. It is nicely decorated and inviting. It was very clean and spacious. We had a really nice time with lovely ocean views. On a clear day, the sunset is spectacular, leading up to a star-filled night sky. The master suite was stunning. It was a quick walk to the beach, with very few people and good beachcombing. I would recommend Pelican 26 to anyone seeking a quiet, comfortable beach retreat!

Great place on the beach, away from town

We loved our stay at Pajaro Dunes Pelican 26! The setup was great for our family and we had plenty of space for 3 adults and two teens. The half bath downstairs was a must and the upstairs bathrooms were both nice. View was a bit understated downstairs but gorgeous from the main bedroom! Location of the resort isnt close to anything so if you want to be in Santa Cruz then it will take extra time to travel. Kitchen was well equiped and furniture inside and out was adequate. The outside deck needs some TLC but the beach access was quick and easy to get to. Resort amenities were nice although i wish there was a BBQ and a hot tub available.

Wonderful place!

We had a great time, and I would absolutely stay here again. One comment for anyone who is traveling with a disabled adult, as I was, is that though the ground floor is completely wheelchair accessible, the stairs to the second floor are very steep and narrow. It was not navigable for a person with mobility issues. There also is not a full bath on the ground floor. This was adequate for us for a brief stay but would have been a problem for a longer stay. My kids loved the easy access to the beach and I loved being able to arrive with all our food and then just staying put for a few days. I definitely recommend it!

Super relaxing time

The condo was beautiful, well equipped, and spotless. The view of the beach was wonderful, and gave us a very welcome break. We also really enjoyed the tennis courts. One small gripe - we tried to call the after-hours number one night when we had a little confusion about the entry gate. Could not reach anyone and never got a call back. Good thing we figured it out ourselves.

Funtime At The Beach

All of us had a good time on the property. The condo was very nice and close to the beach. Everyone was happy with the accommodations. We did not need anything other than what was provided. The only negative was the person who checked us in was not very welcoming and was curt and rude. She is not well trained in public relations. Sorry, didn’t get her name. Gorgeous beach, centrally located

I've never stayed in this area before. It's a really nice beach. We were able to drive down and do a day in Monterey but otherwise just spent most our time at Pajaro. The condo is located at the very end of the complex so you have a lot of privacy and you are right next to where all the pelicans roost. The unit itself was clean and comfy. My only minor complaint was that the BBQ is kind of tiny and you can barely cook on it (I think they have regulations on BBQ's because I noticed all the units had that same type).

Overall very nice

We had a nice time in the condo for the weekend, great location right next to the beach. Bedrooms were comfortable and the common areas had plenty of space for our 5 person group. The only drawback were the doors. The front door was very difficult to unlock, the knob is loose and it took us 5+ minutes sometimes to get into the condo. The upstairs bedroom with the twin beds also had a troublesome door. The door would get jammed into the doorframe and was very difficult to open/close, I think some light sanding would fix the issue there. Overall we had a very nice time!

Exactly As Advertised

Having never booked a vacation through a rental company, I was venturing into the “unknown”! Upon arrival, until checking out, everything was perfect. The staff of At The Dunes run an amazing company. The unit was immaculate and I felt like it was my home away from home. It was well stocked with everything needed to enjoy our time. The spices, utensils, dish ware and furnishings were surprisingly complete!! All in all, our time at Pajaro Dunes was a wonderful family vacation and we can’t wait to come again. Thank you so very much...we got exactly what you advertised!!

US Open Retreat

Loved this peaceful property! It was an excellent space to unwind from our time at Pebble Beach. Highly recommend to anyone not needing to be in the middle of the action; you can make the easy drive to Marina or Monterey for restaurants/groceries. Beautiful area of farmland, beach and bird watching. Will definitely stay again if back in the area.

Great beach condo.

We stayed here for 4 nights, 4/5-4/8 2019. Nice place, very clean, plenty of towels. Kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and utensils. Small water heater so be careful if someone is taking long showers or baths, we found that out because we have two kids that like to do both. We will definitely return for another visit.

Better Than the Photos

Bigger than it looks in the photos. Very clean and kitchen was well equipped. Short walk to the beach and excellent view of ocean from master bedroom. Would definitely stay here again.
