The location was great. Within walking distance to any shops or restaurants you would want. The host was able to address any issues in a timely manner. The house was stocked with everything you needed from kitchen utensils to beach chairs, umbrellas, and a cart. I would definitely stay again.

Our stay was wonderful. Great place and great location. The one down side is not enough sun on the pool so if you are looking for a shady place then this it.

A great house and even better location

We had a great week at Casa Mahalo and would highly recommend. We even had an issue with a toilet one day, reached out to the mgmt company and it was fixed within a matter of hours. The house was well stocked with everything you need for the beach. The bikes could use a little TLC- everytime they were Attempted to be used the chains popped off within a matter of minutes but that didn’t affect our stay.

Loved our stay at the cottage. The location cannot be beat, fall out of bed and your in town and a 5 min walk to the beach. House is spotless and the bikes and pool floats were a nice surprise.

Fantastic house

The whole family enjoyed the location and house!! They had a playpen for our granddaughter, but didn’t advertise it. The house had tons of room and lots of things to offer.

Nice property a few minor issues that were taken care of immediately. Shower head had low pressure they replaced. One cabinet had screw missing they also fixed asap. Very good location to everything.

Great family vacation

This place is beautiful and in a great location. Close to the restaurants, shops and bars and just minutes away from the beach. Walking into the home we were greeted with a baked good surprise and the house was very clean. We brought 4 teenagers with us so the bicycles were great for them to ride to shops and the beach. We will be renting from you again soon.

Family vacation

We recently stayed with 3 adults and 4 children and were blown away with the amount of space we had!! Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and an amazing kitchen. The kids loved the pool and the adults loved sitting outside and grilling. The garage fridge was such a treat to be able to store grilling foods in. And the property was very well stocked with plenty of beach towels and gear! We will definitely book again!!

We love The Village side best so we were directly behind Gilligans and the coffee shop so wonderful!

Had two great shopping days. And the food was amazing! Just crossed the street and we were in the heart of The Village and could not have been more perfect. SKOB ordered every app on menu and all amazing! The Cottage, Summer House, Bonjour breakfast, etc. Gorgeous pool! Beach close. House so big, pretty and perfect! Top floor so elevator loaded and sent the suitcases in up. Nothing bad to say! Perfect.

Great Trip!!

Our adult children met us here for an adults only vacation. We loved the property and really enjoyed our own private pool. Location was great....just a short walk to the beach, the grocery/liquor store (which surprisingly had everything we needed even though it was a small store), and lots of restaurants/bars/shops. Our end of the beach was perfect....the other end was super crowded! The house had a lot of “extras”.... lawn chairs, beach umbrellas, coolers, beach cart, 4 bikes, beach towels, beach toys (enjoyed the bocce ball set), cupcakes to welcome us, and an elevator to make the trip to the 3rd floor easy especially for the suitcases and groceries....very nicely furnished!! One afternoon a couple girls from The Cottages came by to check on us...with a bottle of wine...just to make sure everything was good! Would definitely stay here again!!

Great refresh

Casa Mahalo / Big Kahuna was just what our group needed to get away from hectic work and school scedule. Siesta key village is a laid back vibe and this house supported that. The pool here was great to come back to after several hrs at the beach. On our last day there, maintenance came to clean up some of the foliage around the pool which was needed because the pool area was slightly too shaded and felt like it increased mosquito activity. House was clean upon arrival, though there were baby ants on the counters when no food was out. Management was very responsive and left kid/pet safe ant spray and liquid ant traps to help us out. Can't say enough about how responsive the management team was (via text and phone) to responding to qurstions we had, even sending someone over the holday weekend, to fix the elevator. Would definitely stay here again given the mgmt. team responsiveness and the central location to the village shops and quick walk to the beach.

Almost perfect

I would rate this as a 4.8 if it were an option...The location is PERFECT, behind the main drag with all of the shops and restaurants and one block to beach access. The extras- heated pool, 4 bikes, beach chairs w/wagon to haul everything, W/D, ping pong table, were in good shape and greatly appreciated. That being said, we had several not so minor problems, all of which were handled promptly after notifying the management company. The keyless entry system worked fine on all but the door to get into the unit, fortunately we were able to get in via the elevator! It would have been easy to reprogram it remotely as soon as we spoke with them, but they opted to send a maintenance worker out the next day. When we attempted to use the bikes, we had to have them return to fix all of the seats and handlebars because they were dangerously loose and required tools to tighten. That was quickly resolved, as was the water dispenser in the refrigerator that stopped working on day three (the tap water in Florida is horrible). While working on that, it became apparent that the disposal had a leak, again fixed right away. Overall, it didn’t ruin our vacay, but that was a lot of things to go wrong and I believe in honest reviews and count on that when I am making a decision. I prefer refillable environmentally sustainable toiletries to the starter kits with multiple little plastic bottles in each room, and a soap dish vs leaving the wet bar on the counters to get slimy. Still recommend 100%!

Great location

Easy to get around. Close to beach. Nice variety of bats and restaurants. Will definitely stay here again.

Girls trip

This property was perfect for our group of seven. Plenty of space, great layout and amazing location. The private pool was lovely, the only drawback being no easy bathroom access, a half bath by the pool would make it perfect. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels, etc. The market a block away is very convenient for stocking up for the week. The beach is a short walk away, everything is convenient. We’d recommend this property to others and plan on returning.

Awesome Property!

We had a great time at this property! It was perfect for a girls getaway and the private pool is an awesome amenity! We had some issues with the elevator (user error) but ended up just not using it anyways. The property was beautiful inside and out and really conveniently located. We have recommended this property to all our friends and do plan to come back ASAP!
