Stay at Warwick

Our stay was for a week visit, property in perfect location center if island w grocery store, chicken & fish place nearby, and Price Rite store around the corner. We brought week bus passes went all over Island. Felt safe at site. Would recommend.

A Very Nice Island Home

The Apartment was very nice and quite spacious. We loved the large bathroom with his and hers mirrors, made getting ready very easy. The property was in a great location, centrally located for most of our activities. The only downside or just oddity, was never meeting our host. She was working when we arrived, and never saw her the entire time we were there.

A place to call home while away

I feel incredibly lucky to have found this apartment for my vacation. Spacious, well-maintained, relaxing, and well-appointed - it is also in easy walking distance from wonderful beaches and great places to eat. More than anything, Juanita made me feel welcome and at home as soon as I arrived. Traveling by myself, I felt instantly at ease and knew that I could always reach her with questions or worries. The location is perfect - central, close to Horseshoe Beach, with easy access to buses. Juanita also took me to Oleander Cycles to rent a scooter and gave me a quick driving tour of the island to help get me oriented. I absolutely recommend this as a place to call home on your visit!

Right in the middle of everything!!

Perfect location to see all that Bermuda offers! A true Bermudian hone! The studio provides everything you will need. Airport transportation n stop at the market starts your getaway with all your needs. Bus stop is only a few steps away. But RENT scooters!! Then there is no waiting time lost for the bus. Plus a wonderful way to explore the island! Can't wait till the pool is in. Will come back again for sure!!

Wonderful place to stay in Bermuda for a week!

My husband and I stayed in one of Juanita's apartments for a week this summer and loved it. It was a very convenient short walk to the bus stop which was an easy way to get around the island. We rented the efficiency apartment which had plenty of space for us: A comfortable bed, a dresser with lots of drawer space, a kitchen with stove and refrigerator, a love seat, a table for four, and a TV. There was also a large bathroom. Just outside of the apartment was a lovely yard to enjoy. And everything was spotless!! Be sure to have Juanita pick you up at the airport. The price was $50 and she took us to a grocery store on the way to the apartment so we could pick up things we needed. Warning: prices are high in Bermuda so be prepared. Juanita had warned us and she was right! Glad we packed a few things with us like peanut butter, snack bars, etc. While I was there, Juanita also showed me her other apartment which was really big. I think it had two bedrooms and would be perfect for a larger family. One thing that we liked was that our apartment was on the main level with no stairs. My husband had recently had back surgery and so it was great for him. We would definitely return and stay with Juanita!

Nice location and very helpful owner

My wife, mother in law and our 14 month baby were visiting Bermuda for the first time and they enjoyed the central location and easy access to the beaches and gocery store. The owner also showed them around the places and that definitely helped.

Great sized Studio

I had my in laws stay here for 2.5 months when they came to help out with the birth of our second son. The apartment was 300 meters from where we live - so great location. They were very happy with the apartment as it had all they needed and allowed them peace and quiet away from the kids in the evenings.

An absolutely beautiful property in an excellent location!

We stayed in the one bedroom unit and pretty much had the yard to ourselves. Excellent place to star gaze! We were very close to grocery, restaurant, gas station and the laundromat wasn't to far away. Especially close to Horseshoe Beach which is the nicest beach on the island! The property is very clean and well maintained! All the appliances and A/C worked great. We settled in and felt right at home! It is so nice of Juanita to open up her home and share such an amazing property with us tourists! Thank you so.much Juanita!! : )

Save a little money w Juanita

Good central location. Clean accommodations. As some had commented when I was researching, we found it was possible to make the pleasant walk to the South Shore beaches...about 20 minutes. Walking works in general for the surrounding neighborhood, but since there isn't always a sidewalk, try and avoid rush hour or walking along the roads after sundown. The public buses are cheap AND reliable...it just takes a little effort to figure them out (exact Bermuda coins or tickets...no paper money). Cabs are considerably more expensive and not always around where you might need them. Buy a book of tickets if you can for the buses. Even if you don't use them all, your individual rides will be even cheaper by buying a book of tickets. The ferries work sort of the the same way as the buses and are recommended for larger scenic skips around the island. US money taken EVERYWHERE we went...you just might get Bermuda change. The supermarket nearby is good, especially if you plan to cook a bit (adjoining bakery fresh and very good), and we had a nice fresh lunch at the nearby Island Cuisine restaurant. Wahoo's Restaurant...good seafood, nice people, if you find yourself in St. George's parish. Another great money saver: go to the deli/grill INSIDE the "Pharmacy" for light lunch at the Dockyards (tables outside). Fresh, and much cheaper than the nearby pub-style sit-down restaurants. Those are also perfectly good...just more expensive and larger portions...depends what kind of lunch you're looking for. Juanita is a good resource for questions. Thanks!

Jason and I loved our stay here. Juanita was wonderful---the fresh bananas were a sweet touch! can't beat the location---being able to walk to Horseshoe Beach was awesome. The mopeds got us everywhere else we wanted to be. can't wait for our next bermudaful vacation! would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Private Paradise

A great place to stay for a couple. Had everything you need for a peaceful stay. It seemed as if we had the place to ourselves. The most "noise" was from the tree frogs. The air conditioning worked great and you do not hear it cycle on and off which made it perfect for sleeping. Being so close to the market and the delicious bakery made it easy to get items for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Let me suggest fresh made croissants from the bakery and sliced meat & cheese from the deli in the market. Another plus is the restaurant, Island Cuisine. Wonderful food - try the mashed pumpkin - YUM!! Then get your ice cream fix at Scoops. The water filtered from the roof (which is the Bermudian way) is quite good - liked it better than the water you get in the restaurants. The hairdryer and drying rack were a big help. The internet access was quick and reliable. Would have liked to have some chairs with backs in the unit for sitting at the table. However, there are several options for sitting outside including a wicker rocking chair. The good sized private backyard provides a wonderful place for relaxation in the evening. So...if you want to enjoy Bermuda without the resort prices then I would recommend staying at this private paradise.

Awesome private location

Enjoyed our 8 day stay at this spot which is a studio in walk-out basement. The unit is quite affordable and meets one's needs. No ocean view but that downside is offset with the location - you are steps away from the bus stop, a shopping market that includes a grocery store, a shop that is the Bermudian equivalent to "Dollar General", bakery, ice cream shop and a tasty diner. And if you rent a scooter, 5 minutes from beaches (up and over the hill), Gibbs Lighthouse and a beautiful 20 minute (max!) ride along Harbour Road to Hamilton. Enjoy YOUR stay if you choose here.

Good base for exploring Bermuda

We really enjoyed our stay here. My husband and I rented a scooter so we really got to explore the beautiful island. We were out pretty much all day long but were very comfortable in our Bermudian home once back from our explorations. The apartments had a good kitchen with good supplies and we used it to make breakfast every morning!

Nice Studio, Good To Have Kitchen, 20 Minute Walk To Beach

My wife and I stayed at Juanita's house in Dec2016. We liked the cozy studio with the sitting areas and kitchen. The kitchen meant that we could have relaxed breakfasts as well as evening wine and cheese in the room. We were there to play golf and the location is between Mid-Ocean and Port Royal, with the closest course being the beautiful Turtle Hill par 3 course. It was great to have the supermarket just .25 miles away, so we always had food available in the apartment. All but one restaurant is a taxi ride away for dinner (I wouldn't want to walk back from any others in the dark). Horseshoe Beach was about a 20 minute walk, which also brought you close to the Gibbs Hill Lighthouse and the Fairmont Southampton Hotel. The price was right, the location was good, and the apartment was CLEAN. What more could you want?

Absolutely Amazing!!

This home away from home is a gem to be treasured! The location was extremely central to all parts of the island, and made it convenient to travel to and from each day. The home has all the amenities that you could ask for! There is a grocery store a short walk away, that helped bring our kitchen alive. There is also a great cafe and ice cream shop n the same plaza! The hostess and her family are extremely welcoming and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure we acclimated to the island life. I would recommend this home as the best option for an extended stay in Bermuda! I am definitely booking again on any return trip to Bermuda!

Great house, great location, great hostess!

Juanita was very sweet, and the house had everything we needed. It was close to all of the south shore beaches, we needed a scooter to get to them, but they were very easily accessible. The house is within walking distance to the grocery store, and there was really nothing that we needed that we didn't have! Thank you for finding is a cricket match for us to watch!!

Perfect hosts, perfect location, perfect rental for a memorable vacation in Bermuda

My husband and I stayed at Riddell's Bay Manor last week and loved it. Juanita and her mom Lydia were the perfect hosts. They showed such genuine concern for our vacation experience. Getting to know them personally was such a blessing. The rental was spotless and exactly as it was pictured on VRBO. The location was perfect for us. The buses were 5 minute away so we were able to get to anywhere on the island we wanted to go yet also were able to walk every night to our favorite spot Horseshoe bay for a swim. We relaxed and read outside in the comfortable wicker chairs on our patio. We shopped at the nearby market, ate at the Island Cuisine and enjoyed our nightly ice cream at Scoops. We loved Bermuda and staying at Riddell Bay Manor was the perfect location for our memorable vacation. We would recommend it to everyone we know. Thank you Juanita and Lydia for making our vacation perfect. Bless both of you. Can't wait to see you again someday and stay at Riddell Bay Manor.

Riddell's Bay Studio Accommodation

This was the perfect place for us to stay for our 2 week holiday to the beautiful island of Bermuda. It has everything you need to make your stay comfortable and is close to grocery stores, restaurants and beaches. Juanita is very welcoming and a wonderful host and one very busy lady but always had time for a chat with us. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for the perfect location. Looking forward to revisiting when hopefully the pool will be in, making it even nicer than it already is.

Lovely residence

Our stay was so enjoyable, thanks in part to the lovely hospitality of Juanita and her sweet mother! Juanita made our day once when shortly after telling her of our plans to visit a church to meet the pastor, with her hawk-like visage, she spotted the church's van driving right past us! She high tailed it like the former police cop that she is! Zooooommm...we were on a high speed chase with Juanita at the helm to flag the driver down. Felt like a Cagney and Lacy episode. In addition to her superior driving, Juanita is an especially cordial and lovely hostess (with a great singing voice, I might add), who made our stay quite enjoyable. Thank you, Juanita and Lydia! We will always fondly remember our stay with you.

It was great to stay at this lovely home and juanita's hospitality wa was really good I enjoyed it very much and would recommend it to my friend and families only thing i miss having was a phone to call cabs etc. But this little gem is in a great area and accessible to shops and restaurant. Would love to one day return if I were to go back to Bermuda. Way to go Juanita great place.

Wow - We were on a cruise and was lucky enough to run into Juanita. She toured us all over the island and is an amazing person. What a wonderful experience this was. Thank you, Juanita. We will never forget your tour and would - without hesitation stay at your B&B. You made our Bermuda experience a very special occasion. Again - thank you! Di and Georgia

Best non-hotel accomodation we've ever had

This place is great! Super spacious room, huge bathroom, full kitchen, and all the amenaties anyone can want. Host was very nice and hospitable too. Location of the house was great too ... less than a mile to the nearest grocery store and right in the middle of the island which made it perfect for seeing all of Bermuda. Highly, highly, highly recommend this place. We'll definitely be back!

Best Vacation! Juanita will take great care of you!

Dear Juanita, Thank you so much for taking such great care of my Dad when he stayed with you last week. He was so happy with his vacation and the great care you took to make his feel at home. He loved your place. Mike and I had so much fun with you on the excursions too. Bemuda is a beautiful island and it was a pleasure seeing it with you. We look forward too coming back again soon. 5 stars!!!

Whether you are travelling on a tight budget or not, this alone will allow you to save money, for there will be no need for a Cab. Also, we have on site a CHARGING STATION for the TWIZY rental mini car.
