Aloha dear readers. The Villa has Wifi instructions along with an iPad with information on the Villa features. The WiFi went down and it got promptly fix during the Guest stay. I believe everyone has experienced WiFi issues in the past. They happened and they get solved. The Guests staying prior to the Guest making this Review had a great time and reported no problems. We inspected the Villa carefully prior to any check in. A broken recliner will be unacceptable to leave in the Villa. If something like that would happen we will either take the recliner out or at least place a sign warning not to sit on it and giving the amount of time needed to replace or fix. The main reason is to avoid anyone from getting hurt. If the chair was already broken when the Guest arrived, I wish the Guest would have reported that immediately so we could have fixed it for them. The guest never reported that the recliner was broken. They only reported the Wifi issue, which I had fixed for them immediately. The Resort has a 24 / 7 front desk staff that can assist you at all times. I also have a personal greater that meets you the day of your arrival and is always available via phone. I am also always available to my guests. After any of our Guests check out we perform an inspection of the villa and I always like to inform the Guest if we find any damages, which I did in this case with the recliner. When this Guest says “tried to call-no answer” Its because it was 2:00 am in the morning Hawaii time. If I can’t be reached, again the resort has 24/7 front desk concierge. Like our homes the Villa is always up kept with a lot of love and dedication from the owners and me. We had the Villa schedule for a painting job at the beginning of December and we are excited to have it ready for the Holidays. We obviously wish the Villa could look freshly painted year round, but that is not how life works. This particular guest was here in October. Finally I looked for a way to repair the chair and instead of calling a furniture repair shop, I asked a family member to help me to avoid charges. With his help, the chair was fixed at no cost and I was able to refund 100% of the security deposit. I am very happy and proud that I did my best handling the situation, the chair got fixed, the security deposit was refunded but I also know that sometimes no matter what you do you can’t make everyone happy.
