Thank you for your feedback, Amanda. First and foremost, I sincerely apologize for the check-in confusion you experienced after a long day of travel. While the front desk team always strives to provide the highest level of service, occasional human errors can occur. We certainly understand how frustrating and awkward that situation must have been. That said, the check-in process is handled by the resort's front desk staff and is not directly related to our individual unit. This is actually one of the reasons I personally like to greet guests whenever possible. Unfortunately, I never received notification from the front desk that you had arrived, and I suspect they may have accidentally contacted another property manager. Had I been aware of the situation, I would have done everything possible to assist and make your arrival smoother. I'm glad to hear that despite the initial inconvenience, you enjoyed the beautiful lagoons, pools, quiet atmosphere, and excellent location of Beach Villas at Ko Olina. Regarding the dishwasher, the unit is equipped with two dishwasher drawers. At the time of your stay, one drawer was temporarily out of service while the other remained fully operational, and this was reflected in the rental rate. I am pleased to share that the dishwasher has since been replaced. The dining furniture is part of the original Hawaiiana-style furnishings commonly found throughout Beach Villas at Ko Olina. While some pieces show signs of age and use, they remain structurally sound and safe. We also appreciate your comments regarding the kitchen inventory and cookware and will continue making improvements for future guests. Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience. We are sorry to hear you were unhappy with your stay but would like to clarify a few things. You didn’t like the pillows. We promptly went out and bought four new ones and you complained about those. You reported the trash can was broken. We promptly purchased a new one and you complained about it. Additional dishwasher detergent was dropped off at your front door. There were six sets of bath towels (for three guests) in addition to six beach/pool towels. It was explained there were two sets in the master and four in the spare bathroom. A washer/dryer is provided in the unit. You indicated you did not think you should have to do laundry on your vacation. As a courtesy, additional towels were dropped off. You complained the tv and Internet did not work which was false. You complained about the furniture which is the exact furniture pictured in the listing for the villa. We did everything we possibly could to try and make you happy. A hotel might be more suited to you in the future based on your specific needs. As we discussed with you, the Four Seasons runs an additional $1K per night in Ko’olina for these same dates. The amenities and level of service vary greatly from a condo rented on VRBO versus a full service hotel. We take great pride in the service provided to our guests as evidenced by the 9.8 out of 10 rating since we purchased the unit approximately four years ago.
