The place was very well stocked on beach stuff and baby items. We would go back just for that reason. The beds and pillows were comfortable. We were not “steps” from the beach, but it wasn’t a bad walk to the nearest brige to the water. L The checkout instructions in my email said leave the beds unmade, but in the house it said strip them. Not a big deal except I told everyone the wrong thing and had to go back and strip all the beds after they left. We would definitely stay there again. The owners were quick to respond when we had questions.

Amazing stay - everything was perfectly described and pictures were completely representative of the home. This was our first trip to Pointe West, and this house made it such a memorable experience. The location was perfect and as we had rented a golf cart for the week, getting around the resort area was fun and easy. The two balconies were so relaxing and everyone had plenty of space to either play games, work on puzzles, or just retreat to their room or outside. The house was clean, had everything we needed, and we'll keep this one as a favorite for our next trip!

Will definitely stay again!

I've stayed at Point West several times and this house is by far my favorite! Great location with amazing ocean views. It had everything we could possibly need and then some. I had family staying in other properties and we all agreed that this property was the favorite!

College Friends Getaway

We had a wonderful time staying in Galveston at this house. It was clean and had everything we needed. The owner and her team made sure all was perfect. We enjoyed the Pointe West pools as well. Great location, beautiful beach view and a nice place for a group getaway.

Fantastic vacation

Went down for Mothers Day with our daughters and their families - 10 of us in all. Plenty of room for everyone and great outdoor space for kids to play and adults to visit. The house was super clean and well stocked for people of all ages. We would definitely stay here again!!

Pointe West

We have stayed at this property many times and it is always a nice time. The views are stunning and the breeze crosses through the porches due to the perfect angle of the property. The house is lovely and well kept, with plenty of space and amenities for a family. A consistently reliable place to enjoy your Pointe West vacation.

Perfect vacation!

Check in was very easy and multiple emails to assure us of the property location and how to check in. All meals were easily made in the kitchen. Accomodations for the 9 of us were very comfortable. The ocean was clear, the sand clean and the weather just right. Walking to the beach was manageable for a pregnant lady and a recent hip replacement lady, however it did get a little tiring by the end of the week for some. But it was well worth the effort. The community of housing is clean and beautiful.

5 min walk to my the beach! Fabulous house! Bring your own salt, there were seasonings but no salt. Great experience in Galveston.

Relaxing and Fun

This property was wonderful. Being able to wake up and look out at the beach was amazing. It was a short walk to the beach and then you also had access to pools which our teenagers loved. The house was fully stocked with everything you could need which made the stay relaxing and easy. The house is on the far end of the island so the beach isn't crowded which we loved but it does take about 40 minutes to get to downtown Galveston so just make sure you are aware of that and get what you need when you are in town. I have already recommended this rental to some of my friends.

Great location

Plenty of comfy sleeping quarters and bathrooms. Beach closet well-stocked. Owners very responsive when keyless entry did not work due to a recent storm. Proximity to boardwalk and access to beach club amenities were a plus. Well-stocked kitchen and game closet. Negatives: stairs on the beach end of boardwalk made wagon travel difficult, no window coverings on main floor led to it getting hot midday, and we could have used a few more bath and kitchen towels. We would stay here again!

Girls Trip

We had an amazing time. We absolutely loved the house. We did notice two things. The door lock where beach stuff is... the lock is rusted and no longer works. So we couldn't lock it. And the bottom drawer in refrigerator is broken to the point of needing to be replaced. Outside of that we had a great time.

Air conditioning only worked one night

The AC only worked one of the three nights. Because it was so hot inside the house, the two families had to leave the last evening which pretty much ruined our annual family vacation. Was sad and really disappointed.
