Great vacation

Husband, son, daughter-in-law and I loved the condo and how close it is to the beach. We enjoyed having breakfast and lunches on the balcony with a view of the beautiful ocean beyond the sand dunes. It was nice having the beach chairs and umbrella included. We had a wonderful relaxing vacation! Thank you!

The couch and chairs are broken down and need replaced, plus the sliding glass doors leaked when raining. The mattress in the spare bedroom need replaced. The location of the unit to the Gulf is fantastic.

Our vacation

I believe the only negatives would be carpet in bedrooms smelled, building are built thin so if someone above you isn’t understanding of that, you will here them all night long. I also believe the management company should make aware of smoking laws. Medical card or not, when the smell of smoke is inside your unit with children, it’s very annoying. Should be only allowed outside of units!!!! Other than that, great location, beautiful beaches and pools!!! I would stay at the property again for sure, also the beach restaurant is good! And all the staff at the location are very attentive and pleasant .

I was so pleasantly surprised by the updated fixtures and comfortable furniture. The beds were comfy and there was ample room for our family to relax and play board games. We made great use of the kitchen, cooking each meal. There were plenty of pots, pans and utensils for us to use. The dishwasher made cleanup a breeze! We also loved the fact that I could use my Kuerig pods and my husband could have his drip brew since there were both pots available. The balcony was huge and the chairs were perfect! We enjoyed a meal out there one evening. The amazing selection of entertainment choices from Hulu to Netflix and DVD player plus cable kept us entertained when the storms rolled in. Having TVs in each room was a plus as well! This condo quickly became our favorite! The views of the water were amazing from the balcony chairs, which sat us higher than the protective dunes.

Great Girls Weekend

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I recently went with my family for a girls weekend to this rental in Destin, FL. We had a wonderful stay at this condo! It was very clean upon arrival with great views of the ocean. We even saw dolphins from the deck every morning. There is very easy access to the beach (though no direct access from the back deck) from the condo - just steps away from the dune walkover. The kitchen does not have an actual coffee pot (just a keurig) which would have been helpful to know as we then had to go out and buy a coffee pot. The pull out sofa is pretty uncomfortable and on subsequent nights just slept directly on the couch. The master mattress also needs to be replaced as it is very squeaky and uncomfortable. Otherwise, the kitchen is well stocked with cups, plates, utensils, mixing bowls, and cooking pots, etc. We had a fabulous stay and would absolutely stay there again!

The unit was very clean with plenty of room in the living / dining room for my family of 5 and other family members in unit above us to visit and eat meals. Loved the location to the beach and the deck space. We flew to Destin and used Uber for transportation. Other family members drove and had cars which was good as we had to make several trips to the store and target. Condo does not have any basic amenities such as paper towels, toilet paper, toiletries. This particular condo did not have any blankets for the fold out bed in the couch. The king bed was very uncomfortable and hard. I had to go to target to buy blankets, pillows and an egg crate mattress to help make it more comfortable. The kitchen could use a baking sheet, crockpot and large pot. Only 1 packet of dish soap for a 5 day stay. Overall, it was a beautiful place to stay. My family had an amazing trip. Had I known that I would have to purchase such basic amenities I would have been more prepared and brought another bag along so I didn’t have to make so many trips to the store. OR I would have looked at other options.

There were lots of glasses, plates, cookware, silverware, blender, toaster, etc. for use in the kitchen. There were plenty of linens and toilet paper. We utilized the washer and dryer daily. Be sure to bring laundry detergent, paper towels, Kleenex, Saran Wrap, foil, spices, cooking spray/oil, salt and pepper, as these items were not supplied. While we were there the deck was under construction and not able to be used. It was extremely loud, all day every day. We were also unable to open the curtains on the ocean side as the workers were right outside of the windows. We were not offered a discount for the inconvenience. The construction should be completed by now, so any future renters should have no issues there. The beach service was also great. It was nice to be able to get two chairs and an umbrella to enjoy the beach each day. Aside from the construction, we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this rental.
